Oh dear, this has worried me with these prices. Can you just settle this and answer my question. How long do brake pads usually last on the Clio? I got a 05 reg Clio, and it has done around 3k miles. I am aware it also reflects on how hard...
When I looked at getting one I was looking at a 182 with both CUp packs and metalic paint and with a £4.8k deposite I was looking at £150 a month over 4 yrs or £200 over 3 yrs (interest free loan). However Id own the car at the end.
There are some places doing 182 leases for £200 a month over...
Why do you need to remove the front seats to get the CD changer in the normal changer isnt easy to fit but its a lot easier than removing the whole seat.
It shouldnt be that bad to remove the seat its bolted on under the car I think.

Yeah Im not too worried about being hit, its more say something breaks and I slide into someones brand new evo, what happens then, can they sue me?Tbh id be surprised if it had glass in all the windows and the door internals left in it, if it...

Cheers Edde.IS it not possible for the person you hit to sue you for the damage then?Oh dont worry about it being stripped down, everything will be off or out, rev counter, steering wheel and seat! No need for anything else.
Why do you need...
You dont have to be insured on the track if you hit someone then its there problem if you crash your car then you have to pay. You only insure your car for a track.
Im not bothering insuring my car for the track its just not worth it Ivce paid about £00 on insurance over the past year or so...
There wont be another fact life the new Clio is completly different and will be out later this year. The RenaultSport version will be out Summer 2006.
Its possible there will be a last of the run Renault sport 182 with all the kit on them but i will depend how he normal 182/182 Cups sell.
The 182 manifold is different but its mainly down to the exhaust manifold, sports cat and different exhaust.
However there are other changes ie different head casting (which is infact a step backwords)
You can get them for £12,400 from dealers with metalic paint and both cup packs plus 4 yrs 0% intertest loan (so loag as you have the 40% deposit). So the total price would come down to around £11k if you think youd be paying £1.5k or so interest on that sort of loan.
I use either Competitive car insurance on 011594152255 or Cig car insurance on 01376556833.
They charge about 1% of the value of your car (although minimum is about ~£70 often) and have an excess of £500 or so often.
Personally I got insurance every time I went on the track as I couldnt...
I wouldnt even bother if it doesnt have the cable.
There was a forum member a while back with the same problem and I dont know if he managed to find a cable that VDO unit. The unit is the one sold by dealerships and no part number exists for the cable so youd have to contact VDO for one. I...
Nope rear brakes are different on the Renault Sport than the normal cars as far as Im aware. Only the dci 100 and 1.6 16V have rear disk brakes which are the same as the old MK2 phase1 1.6 16V had.<- I hope that makes some sence.
The 1.6 and 100dci have disk brakes and Im sure Ive seen...
The Cup racers are quoted with load of 0-60, 0-100 and top speed figures however they dont mention that to get all three you have to swop the gearboxes. The 0-100 time of 10.5 is possible but thats with a 6 speed that means the engines at its limiter at 110 or so. Its easilty possible if you...
The new normal Clios are due later this year (Id guess theyll be released just before September so people can test drive and order then on the new plate).
The new Sport is due Summer 2006
The 172 Cup doesnt have the zeon light washers
Apart from thats there no difference I can think of other than 182 cupas and 182 with the cup spolier pack have a little front splitter bit. Some 172 owners have also aded that splitter though.
2.5 yr old Dci About 20 problems probably none realy serous just normal Renault stuff which they never fix.
10 year old Willaims (onwerd for a month) 2 problems but important ones.

You could aways take a signal off the plug on the stereo if you want.
As for the revers you wont be able to get one as easily is it realy worth the effort?
Its not all about power and speed if you want a fast car get something else a 172 CUp will be a lot cheaper and spend the extra £ on throttle bodies etc.
Personally Id get a 182 with the cup packs there better value IMO.
