I don't want to upset the dude, but whenever I buy a car that i'm going to keep (granted thats not very often) I ALWAYS get a full service and a cambelt. Its just not worth the aggro. TBH, a cambelt and a full service on a 1.2 would have cost about £200, and now its going to probably end...

Its always worthwhile spending thousands on the bodywork when the engine needs a full service. Top marks.

Good cars but not cup of tea. Don't really see the point in them. Its a GTi but its not fast, its quite a big car but not big enough to call big. But its quite small but not small enough to be small. Very strange.

I think 4th and 5th in the 2.0 dyn-s is better geared than the 197! Couldn't comment on 6th as i never got that far.

Seats on anything other than 197 are useless. May aswell be sat on a crate, steering is too light. Other than that, I loved all the ones I had.
