I think my o2 sensor is at the end of its life and it seems to read but very slowly! I cant be more accurate with that at the minute. I have a brand spanking new one but not had the inclination to fit ( or time! ) but Ill update as and when I do!

Have you swapped out the o2 sensor?

Post paint I had to get some new decals. I appear to have slightly nudged the number 2 when fitting but its nigh on identical to the other side. Both passed Renault QC I am sure ..

I think there is some dodgy tarmac / camber on that bend. If you go near it at 25mph / 125mph it will spit you off the circuit.

I brake at the "3" marker for this and stick to third. I stay wide on the inital turn and then gently accelerate into the second apex.

I think I can find some time in the corkscrew. Also if I get the exit from Rainey curve wrong it ends up in a poor lap I am not 100% confident that I am fast in turn 11 which leads onto the start / finish straight. 3rd doesnt feel right and 2nd too high in the revs.

Not convinced I can go much faster TBH. I think a low 1:41 is possible with a perfect lap for me.

Just had a minor patch ..

I am not fast at all in the corkscrew. Either come in far too hot doing mad corrections or too slow and feel like I could get out and walk faster.

The third brake light didnt work and looking at previous MOT hadnt for some time I removed the cup spoiler via the 6 torx screws and then measured with the multimeter across the now disconnected connector - 12V. Must be the light then. Fortunately I had pre-empted this and bought a new LCD...

Only been on for 20mins 1:44.6 in the wet ( dynamic ) and CBA to change the weather. I think there is a heck of a lot of time to be gained in the dry with more experience

Finally the nearside light was frustrating me. It was cloudy as heck. I purchased a cheap "wipe" kit on Amazon and had a go. Nothing to lose really! Its only gone and worked! Before What it should look like After

I noticed when I purchased the car my knob was worn. Thanks to a very helpful man over at https://diamond-performance.co.uk/ I recieved a new knob sticker. I then put it into the very new, very high tech paint booth and lacquered it. Its currently in there drying now Before Decal applied...

I also washed the car to get rid of the salt from the run back from the bodyshop and all the bodyshop dust etc. Its a very photgenic car but dont be under any illusion. There are marks on a lot of the panels. Its not perfect by a long way

I have had a busy day! I found some spare part treasure including : 1) TDC sensor 2) HT leads 3) Coilpack Guess that should save me having to invest in these as apparently these were changed over 10mo ago I am not sure what the part that resembles a kazoo is ( top , right ) though?

Almost live injector resistance results are in. ( from gearbox to offside ) Inj1 15.9 Inj2 16.4 Inj3 16.4 Inj4 15.8 All there , or thereabouts. They look cosmetically in ok condition. Must be o2 or TDC then at a guess.
