Also, ages ago it used to come up with a box on the bottom right when I had received a new E-mail, a bit like an MSN pop up, had the name of the sender and the first sentence or so of the E-mail... How do I turn that back on?
Okay, I was lazy and wanted my new live.co.uk account to work on Outlook, so I just downloaded a plugin for outlook.
But is there anyway that you can just add it without the plugin, as the plug seems to add its own folder and it's annoying as I like having everything in the main folder...
Phone line cable goes in the ADSL port, and yes, PC will link to the router via cat5 cable into one of the yellow ports.
Something like this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-003-BE&groupid=46&catid=150&subcat=
IIRC when I used to be on AOL and bought a router, it was pretty much plug and play, the only thing I had to change was Username and Password. And then the other stuff I changed was optional, like firewall, wireless security etc.
So I'd imagine that Tesco would be pretty much the same, but if...
I'd have thought you could leave pretty much everything except username and password default tbh. If not just try them settings above, quite a few people have said they work so I'd imagine they'd be fine :)
Not to bothered about the phone, due an upgrade in a couple of months anyway, just need to get as many free texts as possible!
These unlimited tariffs are absolute bullshit, surely they are designed for people that use a lot of texts, yet to me, 2000/3000 is not a great deal at all.
Orange now limit theirs to 3000
Which TBH I think isn't anywhere near unlimited. I clear 3000 with ease.
O2 do unlimited  How much is that?
The online tariffs they do, aparently 1000 is the most free texts you can get, and I'm finding I'm sending that many a week.
Edit:
O2 is even...
 How can I find out what tariff I am on, on o2?
I think I'm on the same one but would like to find out before I go mental staying on the phone for hours lol!
I'm waiting for the new n82 I think it's called. Due out any time soon I think...?
Wish I'd have just gone with Orange in the first place, but for some reason there was a problem (can't remember what) and I didn't have the patience to sort it out so went with o2, and am now running up £250~...
My mates on that with T-mobile.
TBH as soon as my O2 contract ends I'm going with Orange and their Unlimited free texts thing.
Orange Dolphin:
£35 a month
900 anytime mins
Unlimited texts (3000)
unlimited free calls to your Magic Number
unlimited evening and weekend mobile...
Ali you can clean mine for me this week ;)
You have to love it when a total stranger says to you "Didn't know they did a CSL in brown..."
Petrol station petrol head banter ftw.
Not many CSL's knocking about round our part, and not that many vanilla M3's tbh so gimme a beep if you see one :p I'll try remember to look out for ya
