bell drive other cars third party extension

Just remember though if you are covered you are only covered for the person you crash into, you are not covered for damage to your mates car. I think the rule applies to vehicles which are not registerd to your house hold but I could be wrong. It's a grey area if you ask me. The guy who...

    Geek Comedy?

Whats more humouros is the faces on the prada wearing homo's who seem to have a big problem with the 'joke' while sipping their fairtrade mocca choccko nutmeg sprinkled latte's, treating the place as if it's a trendy club.

anyone put air ride on their clio???

You know like american low-riders. Air bag suspension lets you sit very low. I dont think it's a common mod on a clio. Clio's popular for their handling characteristics so are usually set up for even better handling. I think (I may be wrong) that air ride duff's up the handling, it is more of...

    Swirl removal, By hand

Yea sorry about the tenuous link there, it's just my daft humor. You could use some scratchX, I'm no expert on polishes so maybe PM one of the experts for some better advice or go on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php. I borrowed some ScratchX and it was a laborious job...

More Woes to my Clio - Part 18 or so

Bloody hell man, you have had some bad luck. I had a MK2 golf exactly the same, I spent time and money on that car when I probably should have jacked it in, personally I would cut your losses with this one if it's going to cost a lot to fix this time.

    R5 GTT V's Megane RS

I don't do a huge amount of milage in the clio, our Ka takes the brunt of that so I figure a R5 would be fine for me. I'd be looking to keep it near standard though, for some strange reason I like ohv engines, from owning ford crossflowd cortinas and morris minors over the years, even our Ka is ohv.

    R5 GTT V's Megane RS

The Megane seems very composed around the corners, it just grips. It is a good duel, the 5 is doing a fine job of keeping up, even if he's scrabbling around a bit when he gets his line wrong, though he's working that gear box well to make up for it. I am considering selling my clio, even...

    New Megane advert

I like the bit when the bolt gets sucked into the turbocharger. It's a great way to say the car is only made of the quickest bits!

    R5 GTT V's Megane RS

Appologies if this is a repost, I did a search. Some crazy driving here not so much the skill but the nerves needed to keep so close to the car infront, the R5 is far from standard, I would imagine, but much repect goes to the meg, for a big car it just loves those corners. Those crazy...

NOW THAT LOOKS A LOT BETTER

Sometimes aftermarket seats stick out like a sore thumb but I think those match the existing trim really well and they will be pretty supportive too. Personally I don't think leather is great for performance seats, it's not grippy enough, you made a wize choice with those fabric ones I think.

viewing multiple desktops - Network Administrators

When he was accessing my machine I had complete control still, it was like I was trying to fight the cursor. I just thought it was the Wacom screwing with the standard mouse socket, I was even able to open notepad. I had emails open that could be read and everything, definately made me wonder...

I did not know about all this remote user stuff untill at my last job; my wacom pad was knackerd also ie kept crashing so I called the techs, they said someone will be up later but after 10 minutes the cursor was moving around on my desktop, minimising windows etc, I figured I had a virus but I...

    Am i too old????? Newbie

40 odd aint old! Besides I dont think you are ever old enough to stop enjoying cars, I hope not anyway, so I doubt this will be your last performance car. If you are into cars it sticks with you imo, can you imagine people like Jeremy Clarkson ever getting to an age where they think "you know...

    Brotherly Love

Looks really good, the red and black theme is smart, it breaks up the colour. It's nice to see a Ph1 done tastefully with a subtle body kit too, it makes a nice change to see something different.

Why don't they? or are they? making a new V6 or similar?

The whole rear engined thing in hatchbacks has probably had it's day at renault now. The Turbo I and II were made to allow Renault to compete in rallying, they made enough road going versions to qualify (the same way road going versions of the T16 and 6R4 were made in the number specified by the...

    Why do people do this.....?

The maxi clio kit as seen on the Diac rally clio from the 90's was the best look for the MK1 imo. There was a guy who did a full on replica and showed it on CS some time back. I think he was due for a major engine mod and I never caulght what he did but that is a car I'd be proud to own...

    Should I get a Mac?

I doubt I have a quarter of the skills you do on quark or illustrator or in general with graphic design buddy, wind your neck in I'm having a play. It's just a minority I'm refering to, the same way that someone one who once drew a picture or whatever calls themselves an 'illustrator' and it...

    Should I get a Mac?

Yeah it warms my heart too. It's a f**king trooper. Mine is a Powerbook G4 from 2003, I bought it second hand in 2005. I've been wearing headphones around my neck forgot and pulled the thing off a desk going for the phone. Chucked my mate a can of coke (like a girl) and it hit the screen...

    Should I get a Mac?

You just boasted your opinion as if it was the be all and end all of the argument, it came across "because I'm a graphic designer I know best so there" oooh well trumps to you, if you didnt catch the drift of my post I was being ironic. :) The fact is yes graphic designers do a good job (a...

    need urgent help!!

Not lightly to be the starter motor if the battery is showing signs of dying but it still starts. If you jump start the car from a jump start box or other vehicle and the engine starts ok then the starter motor will be fine. A new battery could cost from £30 to £70 for a decent one with a 3...

    Should I get a Mac?

Macs will do everything a PC will do but imho better, however they cost more. I use two macs I am self employed, I wouldnt trust a pc with my business, I used pc's for two years at a games company and I was glad to get back to a Mac, it's not that Mac's are specificly loads better than PC's...

    Clio V6

If I bought a cat D and it was a good job I'd have no qualms about it. I'd look at it, drive it and form an opinion on that. The only thing I would do is pay a fair price in the first place. PS I'd love to know where all these sub 8 grand cat C and D Clio V6's are hiding because I would...

    need urgent help!!

BTW every time you start the car you cain the battery, especially in the cold weather, the engine is harder to turn, if it's dark the lights are on, the heater and the heated rear window it all takes it's toll. Try to start the car with foot on clutch, less resistance. Dont be stop...

Could be a battery prob. Easy things to try. Does it sound like the starter motor (the wirwirwir noise on start up) is slow to turn (more like wiiiiiirrrr...wiiiiiiirrrr....) when it does start. Do the lights go dim with the engine off. like above check connections are they loose /...

    Female car insurance

Yep, the difference between a good driver and a bad one is obviously the fact that one has a nut sack and the other one dosent, didnt you know that. I wonder....what about pre op transexuals, do they get 'lady' insurance too??! hmmm I might be able to save myself a few quid on my renewal if...
