Hmmm, but it did it with my old install too? And yep, happens each and every time I log on.
Tried running Microsoft Update again and it said I'm up to date. Ive rebooted at least ten times :dead:
I think its something to do with the most recent update, as last week Automatic update told me there was a new update, so i downloaded and isntalled it, and then the exact same thing happened. So I reformatted and put XP x64 on and it was fine. But due to XP x64 not being fully compatible with...
Just reformatted and left it to update.
now whenever i reboot, when i hear that annoying startup sound, my desktop doesnt load for 30~ seconds, and its doing my head in.
Took a vid on my phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGkNtcMQd8M
please help :(:(:(:(
Ive tried a few versions off live. It seems to run slow on my system (e6600 2gb ram) for some reason. 7.5 doesn't look to bad and uses a lot less resources and runs a treat.
Hmmm... does this apply for any contract, where if your phone 'breaks' they will offer you one of a selection?
If so I can see my phone taking a drop out the window..
Seems to be working now lol... must have just needed a bit of batery before it turned on again. Just seemed to take forever to turn on as i was in middle of a importantish convo when it cut off!
I was just on the phone and my phone died. I thought it was the batery at first as I noticed earlier on today that it was in the red. So I put it on charge and it didn't light up... So I tried 2 different sockets around the house and still nothing.... Doesn't do anything when I hold the power...
I had Vista running fine with my hardware. I only went back to XP for a few minor problems (nothin to do with performence, was small bits to do with interface that I didnt get on with).
