Whats the GDi car got then?
I was looking at the ones on Ktec but the price varies sooo much!
I'm only going to use the thing 3/4 times a year so can't justify spending £800 plus fitting plus setting up!
Its going to be a track car, don't give a monkeys what it handles on our sack of piss roads here in the united Kingdom, just want it to be good on nice flat smooth tarmac.
Anyone got any? To be used with standard wheels.
Any ideas on cost (purchase and setting up?) I'll get my mechanic to...
If i fit one, i understand it will suck in hot air.
If i cut out a a4 sized hole in the bonnet and meshed it with a scoop above it, (Proffesional job in a bodyshop, not some tinsnips) would that aid performance? Or would this just be a nobbish thing to do?
Fred, all the stuff on your website just says 'awaiting picture' i'm not being funny, but if i'm spending lots of dollar, i want to see what i'm spending it on! lol
Just a day off toy type thing. I've 'aquired' some brand new shocks so just want some lowering springs until next year when i should have some more money to get some decent coilovers and take things further.
Cheers tom. Its not for the 197 tho, thats my company car, i don't think they'd like it if i prepped it for a track lol
Its for a 172. And that 'modification' did cross my mind with the cat!
I saw him this morning unloading the camper, but the baby was crying and i was late for work, so never managed a chat. I'll pop in the garage and see him on thursday. do you know how he got on? How did your mates get on with their first outing?
if it was £500 and it was as you described, you'd be a complete tit to turn it down!
Buy it, a new box fitted will be £350-400 and Robert is your mothers brother.
Keep it aswell, its better than a 182.
isn't there any where else?? I've always used them just because its convenient. I was hoping to find somewhere where they sell more sort of motorsport type stuff? maybe?
just soak them with very warm water 10 or so minutes before you wash the car and they'll fly off (excuse the punn!)
Polish the front end after and next time, the flies will be so much easier to remove.
(don't do any of this in direct sunshine)
Ok. I need two bucket seats, harnesses, Small steering wheel, Uprated discs, pads and braided hoses. I need some Lowering springs (i have 4 brand new shocks) and i need some decent quality dry weather only tyres. I need A decat and a decent exhaust and possibly a Roll cage.
Any...
I don't think they pulled his pants down. He bought the car, so unless they locked him in a room until he handed over ten and a half big ones, you can't really say he had his panties pulled down.
