i paid for the insurance when i got it, just the start date on the policy was 23rd jan, when i turned 21, so today. Driving back from uni tomorrow. I want to stick a new exhaust on cause i think the standard one looks to small, anyone know why the yozzasport site is down.
For the first month wasn't to bad cause i bought it cheap as it needed work doing, front/rear brakes pads and discs, cambelt, alternator, battery, mot and tax, oh and a damn good clean. so that kept me busy first month but once all that was done it was just sat there teasing me.
So exicted, have had my BG182 since november, its just been sat in my drive, tempting me to use it, moving up from a 1.2 dynamique, just need to drive back home to portsmouth.
Yeh I it set to the red now looks a bit better, pushing the wheel in before turning does work but still a pain cause I have to much music on my phone, should sort through it or be bothered to make some playlists, then I wouldn't be able to complain.
Love the black and Green looks awesome, what are the dimensions of your front plate, I want to buy one that sits flush in the recess, just not sure on the size.
not sure about on a V6 but on my old 1.2 under the heater controls there was a curved panel above the cup holder, this slides out forwards and you can get access to the bottom back of the head unit, useful if you have lots of wires behind.
Ah thanks, they said they had all the paints from a list of manufacturers but didn't seem to mention renault, i'll find out when i get them done, will do some before and after pic as well.
going to take my car to DingMaster in Bristol to get all 4 wheels refurbished, because the previous owner somehow passed his driving test without learning to park. They have quoted me £43 per wheel, which I think seems fair. They also said what colour do i want them resprayed, I want to keep...
Flatmate went to autosport show in birmingham on friday, said it was really good would have love to go, but i not on a degree that allows you to go to the trade show.
i have an Alpine X100, which is a great unit, does everything that needs doing, very easy to navigate and a decent quality colour screen. Only thing i find is that it can be abit of a problem if you have loads of music on your ipod/iphone, if you want to get to an artist beginning with "m" for...
Noticed inside my glovebox at the back right there is a blue switch, just wondered what this does, a mate has this in his car as well asked him but he has no idea. any help would be appreciated.
Buy some Dynamat or similar sound deadening material, its not cheap so its unlikely you will cover the entire car with it, but take your speakers out and put it on the panels around them, it stops the panel reverberating as its a rubber material which absorbs the panel vibrations. The sound...
Hi, the same thing has happened in my car (i think) as the adjuster knob no longer does anything, how do you get inside the seat, or do you just pull off the adjuster
be careful having blue sidelights, i had them in my old 1.2 in a carpark in bristol, police turned up questioned me about being parts of the emergency services and were going to give me 3 points, luckily i had the original white/yellow ones in the glovebox so changed them there and then.
Recently bought a 182FF but didn't get the owners manual, I have already read on here about the cruise control +/- buttons on the wheel, but what are the other buttons for on the other side. Think one is labelled R and the other O.
Changed my rear discs and pads yesterday, you need a 17mm spanner to undo the callipers to get the disc out, a 30mm socket to undo the bolt in the middle of the disc, some heavy duty grease, and some pliers.
If you want decent sound quality don't buy 6x9's they produce noise not music. (I'm saying this even though a have a £170 set of JL C2 in the shelf). Pretty sure you can't get Bose unless its already supplied with the car, get a high quality set of front components (JL Audio C5's sound awesome)...
Personally I don't like Kenwood, I think this is because they make everything including your home toaster. That headunit does have a pre-out, so you could connect a sub to it, but if you wanted to amplify your speakers it will be no good, I have always gone for Alpine, try and find one that has...
I have a full JL Audio system in my clio, i have the VR series front components, you need to build these away from the doors otherwise the windows don't shut, C2 series 6x9's in the shelf, and twin 12W0V2 subs, this is running from a JL G-Max monoblock 1200w amp, and a JL G4500 4 channel amp...
They do look good in yellow, i understand why people would think that, just thinking yellow would show up dirt and brake dust and go off colour much quicker. Where did you get the smoked side repeaters from seen some on ktec, and they look fairly good.
Hi does anyone have any pictures they could upload of their 182 with painted brake callipers, I have a black 182 with the anthracite alloys, want to paint the brakes red, just wanted to see what it looked like before I do it.
Saw these advertised in Top Gear magazine, just wondered if anyone has had any experience with them, and if they do actually work.

Insured with Admiral, on a multi-car policy, but its so cheap cause we have quite a few cars on the same policy and it's all organised through some form of company car policy. Excess is about £650 so fairly high. Stupid thing is according to the insurance company I can drive the 5 litre TVR now...
I really cant understand how some people pay more than 1k for insurance, seems such a waste of money, especially on cars that are not even that quick, i'm paying £372 fully comp on my clio, and £601 fully comp on a TVR Chimaera 500, running 417bhp
