Recently bought myself a 182FF, according to parkers this is running 180bhp, guessing this is at the flywheel, anyone know what kind of power they should be running at the wheels. Was just interested really, thanks for any replies. Rob
I will have a look next week when i'm back home, i need to change the discs and pads so will have a look then, i'm not sure about which direction, as its my dad thats using the car told me, but on a test drive of another clio in bristol the same thing was happening. i think it might be from...
I'm not sure on the tyres currently on the car, suspension is good condition, will check to see what tyres it has on it when i'm next at home. The guy i bought the car from was a mate of mine and i reckon if he did change any of the tyres they would have been the cheapest possible, so that could...
i'm not sure how to explain it, its not understeer, it feels like the tyre walls are flexing in the corner, this is noticeable most on roundabouts, so not even going particularly quick.
I have recently upgraded to a 182, just something i have noticed when you go into a corner it doesn't seem to hold its line quite as i expected, have checked tyres for tread and pressure, all fine. If anyone has an answer to this would be appreciated, could it be to do with the esp being on...
ok cause i have seen them on a bmw 840 up the road from me which i am pretty sure is N reg, was hoping there might be a loophole cause would look nice on my black 182
First off sorry if this is the wrong section. I have recently seen a few cars around Bristol with Black/silver plates on them, was just wondering if anyone knows the legality of these and also where they can be bought from, as i have been looking for something a little different for a personal...
im 20 now 21 in jan, got my clio last week, i'm paying £650 fully comp as main driver, i have both my parents as named driver on the policy as well that made it alot cheaper. oh and its with admiral on a multicar policy so i got an extra 10% off for having few cars on the same policy. i have...
i did go to rentech first they quoted me £660 for alternator and cambelt with all the pulleys etc, took the written quote to renault and they matched the price. The £1000 is after all the servicing and belt changes, as i have already paid for those. Also what do people think of stuff from Ktec...
yeh brakes seem a decent idea, cars in for a full service, cambelt, waterpump, alternator, the lot etc atm, at a renault dealership. What size tyres am i looking for and the speed rating?
at last i got myself a 182, been wanting one since my first car a 51 plate 1.2 clio. Now just thinking of a few upgrades as i got this cheap as a few things needed sorting, and also insurance was much cheaper than the expected 4 figure value for a 20yr old. got about £1000 to spend, what should...
Hi, i'm looking at buying a 182, today i test drove a 54 plate 182 with both the cup packs, just a little concern is that while cornering fast and also during quick acceleration the STOP light and a little triangle with an exclamation mark on the dash board flickered on and off, was a little...
Your door speakers are 13cm/5-1/4 inch, i have JL Audio V2's, but something like Vibe blackair series are good and reasonably priced, depends on what you want to spend thought, and also you may need to build them away from the door, i did as mine are fairly deep speakers, get components as they...
Velcro, or a very thick double sided tape, but this doesnt work if you intend on taking sub in and out of the car, another option would be get a twin sub and the extra weight keeps the box in place.
I would highly recommend JL Audio, in my clio 1.2 i have the full JL package, C2 6x9's, V2 5.25 front components, 2x12W0V2 subs running from a g-max 1200 monoblock amp, and the speakers run from a g4600 4 channel amp. JL is great if you want decent quality sound through the volume range, there...
