Ah, so a good surface which is keyed for application is essential. Do you reckon it's worth the money then Dave are you really impressed with the results? IPA wipe after the polish, never used beer to wipe my wheels before ;) But seriously whats IPA?
...and you won't see that much of the Monaro either, I know they're juicy on the mpg but average of circa 12 to the gallon!! I wasn't prepared for this! High days, dry days....and pay days!!!!
The C5 is difficult to apply? How so dave? I'm hoping that tiny amount in the bottle lasts for...
Thanks for the link mate!:) Yeah does seem to be one of the better ones going on the report, very good claims on it's durability. Sadly one of the most expensive and it's out of stock.:(
I figured this one might do a decent job, the emphasis being on durability and protection. Not keen on waxing the wheels every week or month if I can help it. Any body used it, it's a jolly decent product?
So Chemical Guys Wheel Guard...
Ok, so it's a while since I've been on here, sold my 182 Cup way back in Feb 2010. But I found the knowledge regarding cleaning/detailing products on here was very good, and used the advice much to my delight!:)
So I'm back and asking for a little more. Currently I'm using Duragloss 901...
I think it could be to do with the mileage. Your suspicious now and suspicious that it may of been abused too. Fear not, once you've sorted these faults it'll be a while before anything else crops up.
You did better than me! Mine was 165!:(
I spent a fair amount which I shouldn't have. BTB Exhaust with de-cat, ITG Maxogen, matched inlets, fast road cams and re-map by RS Tuning. Only made 180. 1 bhp over the supposed standard power:eek:.
Looking back now it was fun in tuning the car but an...
Bloody well hope so, best part of 15K for this sort of thing.:(
Still I feel I've gotta try it even if I'm approaching the bank manager for reapairs.
Mind you EVO also acclaimed the 182 Cup too.
I feel the Integra proabable excelled more on track, never tried it myself but suspect so. Hence the reason why they rated it so highly.
Personally I felt I couldn't travel any quicker on the bends on public roads in either car.
Sold my 182 Cup the other week
Clio sold!!!
Moving on to faster things, hence reason for sale.
Overall verdict:
Damn good grip and balance etc, I'd say on a par with my Integra Type R on public roads :). Very forgiving and easy to learn, no suprises. Not as quick accelerate as the...
Some pleasant fellow has decided they didn't like the stripes on my Racing Blue 182 Cup.
Someone has fingered nailed one of the stripes on the roof, peeling off part of the stripe.:(
Is it possible to replace a single stripe on the roof with an OEM decal from Renault or do I have to buy...
All these people complaining about the sun.:dapprove:
Real pleased, good motors and good sunshine, can't beat it.:)
It's summertime, enjoy it while it lasts.
I've owned her nearly a year now. She's had work done at Northampton Motorsport recently. Tomorrow's the day of collection for the car. Not too excited about the bill though.
.....or the supposed weather.:(
Thank you.:)
Would've preferred to take the Clio instead for obvious reasons, but place I'm collecting the SEiW from is only down the road and coinsides with tomorrow.
