^ Indeed. It sounds great, but that's about all.....for the time being.;)
As soon as the inlets are matched the cams will be done at the same time, as will the re-map.:)
I guess that's the only way of trully finding out whether there is a difference. Just doesn't feel any quicker than before the mods went on.:S
Re-map on the way.
A few heavy stops are in order then over the next week.
Thanks for the advice.:)
Once bedded in is this combo of Brembo Max discs and DS 2500 pads safe for extreme braking of 120 m.p.h. + without disc warpage? If not will the Yozzasport brake cooling kit prevent this from happening?
Had the DS 2500's and the Brembo Max discs fitted at Ren-Tech the other day.
Unfortunately Mike was unable to do any hard stops due to traffic. The same applied to myself since it was rush hour.
Must have covered circa 100 miles on the return trip to Essex without hard stops.
Does this...
As for tyre shine I'd use Swissvax Pneu. Available from Swissvax direct.
Unlike some of those other tyre shine products on the market, Pneu leaves the tyres looking New, like they've just been fitted. Not that silly over the top unrealistic wet look.
I thought so. I wasn't expecting that much, but I thought I would've felt something??
A re-map is on the cards for sure. Cams also. Waste of time though to re-map before cams.
Several upgrades fitted the other day:BTB Exhaust, Yozza de-cat, ITG Maxogen filter.
Haven't really noticed any gains in outright accelration. Though perhaps a small increase of torque seems to present in the lower rpm range. Happens around 4000 rpm.
Should I be seeing more of a performance...
First impressions:
Haven't really noticed any gains in outright accelration. Though more torque is present in the lower rpm range.
Sound is pleasing, reasonably loud.:) Intrusive at 75 mph +, boomy. Not too worried as most of the time below 75 mph....and if above turn up the stereo...
Just fitted at Ren-Tech yesterday.
BTB rear silencer, centre section and Yozzasport de-cat.
ITG Maxogen filter.
(no pic) Brembo Max front discs, Ferodo DS 2500, Goodridge braided hoses and fluid change.
After washing the car, to save waxing I've heard people mention quick detailing spray.
Is it easy to use/apply? What sort of results can one expect? What product would be the best to use?
Thanks.:)
It hasn't been driven like it should from new. Trying to make up for that since I bought it, which has helped. Even though I was told my 134 h.p. wheel figure equals 177 h.p. at the flywheel according to the dyno and staff at Engine Advantages in Witham, Essex.
However to quote a professional...
