Just wondering what people have done to use the Ipod in a 172 with the standard fit radio and CD player? I was thinking of using the Itrip Nano but a mate had one for his ipod mini and didnt rate it at all, apparantly it saves the radio frequecies in your playlist and when on random will play...

This one has been vandal damaged in the past, it has no door moudlings, mirror covers and is listed on HPI.

I noticed that, it looks different every time - sometimes good but in some of the photos it looks really dark. So are the above Flame Red then yeah? The car in question is 1 2001 51 flame red with 33k miles and 2 owners, UK car FRSH and just had its 36k service done. Offered at £6k does that...

In the past I have used a product called 3M Handglaze to get rid of swirl marks and glaze, its hard work but the finish from this product is incredible

Are these cars flame red? The reason I ask is I couldnt make my mind up whether I liked flame red or not from the pics someone sent me (Im interestd in buying one this weekend) but I really like the pics on this thread, think I will just have to get some decent wheels on it!

Thanks for the responses, I have a very stripped out Westfield for raw speed so I will prob go for the normal 172.. I was just worried about the Xenons breaking and costing a small fortune! Thanks for the opinions/experiences! Hmmmm do I spend the extra on a 182??!!! decisions decisions haha

speedlines are lighter than std 172 wheel so using turinis lowers the unsprung weight of the car which changes the characteristics of cornering. Changing for lighter calipers, disks and hubs has a similar effect, the wheels amplify it more as they dont have as much inirtia as a heavier wheel

Considering lowering my phase 2 172 by 40mm, I have standard wheels at the moment but was wandering if this would be a bit too much? I dont want to go too low and end up with scraping probs or anything, is 40mm acceptable? Cheers aB

The exhaust is now fitted and looks superb! Demon tweeks had it up on the ramp about 5 times to get it right and ended up cutting about an inch out of the system but it now looks great. Thanks for your help and comments. Ant:)

Sorry, thanks to everyone for your input they all look great! I feel that lowering springs may find thier way on to my car soon too :o
