if that was directed to me -> thanks - this was my first go at modifying and started life as a mechanically great but sad looking tungsten grey, the insurance wasn't too bad - think I payed about £1900 TPFT. I bet you can get them on classic policies now though?
Here is mine I had when I was 17 (9 years ago jeez!!) up there with my fav cars such a superb car. I'd have another no problem but getting difficult to find a good one now!

Yeah I went a couple of meets in it but only local ones to be honest. As soon as I buy any delta the first thing I do is get all the belts done just for peice of mind, I get them done for £300 so its not too bad.. Dark Purple? if its a very dark blue colour with cream seats then its likely to be...
Cheers mate, the GTIR was awesome, 340bhp which at the time (5 yrs ago) was good for a pulsar! It was featured in Banzai. My red delta was 280bhp as was the white one!
I sold the white one to a mate and 1 day later it ended up like this, gutted was not the word!!:
loads of guys in the westfield club have done this its tried and tested. Works perfect on VX XE engines, duratecs, XFlows and zetecs. IIRC if you buy the first of the K series GSXR TB's they are not joined up so can be spaced out much easier, just adapt the fuel rail and bolt on to a twin webber...
Yeah thats me.. 51 ZJO
Sold the integrale as bought a house, still kept the wessy though as can't bear to sell that.
This damm knocking noise is getting right on my tits though, took it in to renault but they couldnt find it. I replaced the dog bone mount but hasnt made any difference at all.
car is a 51 plate with 40k on it.
When pulling away in 1st or sometimes reverse the car has a creaking noise which is very annoying. I replaced the dog bone mount this weekend but its still the same.
What other causes could there be? Its not a driveshaft noise or clutch, it appears to be...
Yeh likely it was me as I do recall seeing a ctr on the square, I also saw a blue 182 turning down greystone road yesterday but I was in my westfield so wouldnt have been recognised obviously!
I run GAZ on my westfield and I think they are great for the money. A fair amount of westy users have them and are well rated. Bear in mind that they are a fraction of the cost of say Leda, and you only get what you pay for really - so to compare them is a little unfair!
What pads did you put on? How worn are the disks? If your disks are fairly worn and have ridges in them then there wont be much friction area on the new pads. Also if you didnt bed your pads in properly then they could be scrap.
The westy is wicked, weighs 550kgs and is 175bhp @ wheels (was over 200 @ fly on rollers last yr). I know your bro from school and college, I think your othe older bro was mates with my sister in school too.
I sold the evo to raise some funds for a new business venture. Plus I plan on getting the Westfield out and about when the sun comes out as that would leave the delta for dust, the delta was only doing around 15mpg so wasnt helping me save up
Are you Christians bro? This you were seeing a...
Sooo many Revo vs Jabba vs Custom Code debates on Seatcupra.net, in the end I opted for Jabba and were able to get 220bhp and 265 ftlbs torque out of my ibiza. Power delivery was great, Revo did the 5hr free trial on mine and it was no where near in the same league as Jabba.
My 2001 172 (mk2) has developed a fairly loud buzzing from behind the dash somewhere, not sure what it is... It doesnt change with engine speed and remains buzzing when the climate is turned off... It is like a constant humming noise, any ideas what it could be?
problem is they are all over the car, is this the usual practice? If I wanted to polish too, what order would I be best to do things?
Thanks for your help..
My car has minor scratching from previous washing and was wondering what is the best way to get rid? I was hoping to give my car a good polish this weekend and have struggled in the past to get the results I was hoping for!
