you need to clear it with a machine, the fault is still logged on the computer untill you clear it,
can be done using any obdII device capable of reading and clearing faults
coolent and thermostat change, stick a hose in the top to flush it through, and refrain from driving it as you could worp the head with to much heat,
its possible you have a build up in the rad or a fubard thermostat
and also bleed it properly to remove all air from system, if this still...
research and change your tyres, its the main course for road noise in the cabin, as stated above the lower the profile the less rubber you have to take the shock out of the noise, have a good look at the types of tyres as different brands and different compounds give better or poorer results.

whats the name of the silver that is used on the 172 Standard 16" wheels
iv just had one replaced and it looks a different silver to the other three...
so im guessing that someone has had the original set refurbished at some point,
dose anyone know the paint code for the silver or the name of...
it could be two things,
the actuator in the door could have stopped working i.e not unlocking when the rest are, or the connecting rod that runs from the actuator to the lock could have come loose.
seeing as electrics are more likely to be the first point of call i would get the door card off...

recently its been getting prgressivly worse, im getting scrubbing on standard 16" wheels and 195/45 tyres on the drivers side only,
the passanger side is fine,
when ever io stick it into a left hand corner it just becomes the world of scrub.....
so could it be worn shocks or nackered...

just got a kit from local car parts place and did it my self took about 2hrs start to finish...and that was my first ever one so.... cant be that hard with a little mechanical know how and a set of the right tools
heavy modification to the surroundings to fit 6x9's and if by some how you get them in, you would need to sound deaden the panel otherwise you will get a crap sound with loads of vibration from the car's panels.
6x9 are designed to be used with a lot of air around them, hence the boot
