Scrubbing on driver side, advice pls

Car  CLIO Iceberg 172
recently its been getting prgressivly worse, im getting scrubbing on standard 16" wheels and 195/45 tyres on the drivers side only,

the passanger side is fine,
when ever io stick it into a left hand corner it just becomes the world of scrub.....

so could it be worn shocks or nackered springs which would coures this?
or somthing other than the suspension

cheers

Give the affected side a good bump and see if the return is the same as the other side.

Sounds like a shock/spring fail to me though.

cool will do, is there anything eles i can try to see if there is sping or shock failer, i,e to narrow it down a bit

Take the wheel off, snapped spring will be easy to spot, fluid running down the shock will mean thats a dead one quite possibly.
