    Power Tool Perverts

He gave me a quick demo and, to the untrained like me, it looked perfect. I'll only be using it to do up the house so it doesn't need to last years

    Power Tool Perverts

I asked @dann2707 the same thing the other day - before asking my FIL who has a bazillion tools. He bought this one a few weeks back and used it a bunch of times whilst building his new garage, said it works perfectly and is waaaaay cheaper...

Torque Moto Cafe - Horsham - 14th May

I somehow managed to not have my car, or me, in a single picture. Probably for the best though, I was hungover as balls and sweating like Clart in a playground by the end of it. Good meet chaps. Great to put some faces to names. Sign me up for the next one 👌

Fred and James’ Clio 182 Racecar Project

Im always super impressed at the skill level involved in building engines. I really really fancy giving it a crack one day - any tips on a learning platform? Im sure Youtube is utterly awash with videos but id prefer something more legitimate and dont mind paying. Fingers crossed my brother...

As @imprezaworks has commented on machines, ill follow up with the latter part. For a beginner, Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Polish will probably be all you'll need. Theyre decent, not too expensive and do the job well. Prepare to need to spend quite a bit on pads. I used the Chemical Guys...

If buying new @Daniel , id go with SiRamik Lustrous Plus. Recently bought a bottle off detailingworld and its insane so far. Lots of reports of it lasting 12+ months. Not the most mindblowing beading but self cleaning and staying power are reported to be very very good. Ive had it on for ~4...

I have a George mate. Henry's cousin? 🤣 The thing gets put through the f**king ringer. Ive used it for all sorts and its decent. Suction isnt perfect (lol) but it does the job, just leaves whatever youre doing a little damp. But thats okay for me! Id recommend one

Snapped up a new product to me on Detailingworld. SiRamik Lustrous Graphine Spray Sealant. Reports on there are bonkers. Spray, level with a damp mf towel, buff and then 12+ months of insane beading. Really excited to give it a go on the BM. I dont get time to do my own car often now as im...

Fusso sounds similar, application wise, to the Infinity Wax Synergy Wax I have. Utter b**ch to use but lasts forever and looks good. Acts like a ceramic too in regards to water. Only issue is, it stinks to high heaven

I only had Megs Polish and Compound at the time I think. Compound was the go to, as well as the heaviest cut cone I had at the time. Worked pretty well considering but if youre shooting for perfection, the only logical solution seems to be these 1 inch micro polishers which are almost as much as...

I find wheels a proper PITA. I eventually ended up using some foam cone polishers I picked up cheap off ebay which attached to a drill. Usual method - start light (in terms of cut) and work your way up. Turns out, the clearcoat on BMW wheels is just as hard as on the paint itself 🤣

O2 used to be pretty good with deals. Like you, ive been with them forever. Recently though, they had begun to take the piss. So the 'Tornado Blaster' thingy I bought - utter shite. Air leaks through the end without even touching the trigger and the inner tube (that seemingly makes the 'tornado') shot off at a million mph into the dashboard of a near brand new porsche i was working on.
