Great turnaround there! Looking good I've recently acquired the neighbours Fiesta for a flipper and, well, that's nothing  Once I've started sorting it, I'll post some pics

I ALWAYS look up a game I want on CDKeys or another 'keys' website. Ive lost count the number of times ive found games at better than half price. Like Civ - that was £50 odd on the store with the packs. Found it online for £13 including the packs. Bargain!

CSF24 ClioSport Festival 2024 - Book Tickets Now!

Its a good time of year to have a butchers on Ebay etc as people will be doing a clear out. TBH, I just run my full face, even in the 140. Is it ideal? No. Id rather an open face, but I can then use my one for Karting....

CSF24 ClioSport Festival 2024 - Book Tickets Now!

General rule of thumb is open face is fine for hard top cars. Soft top/convertable, full face is required. It does vary from track to track (and from safety briefing to arriving in my experience too!). For example. Thruxton. Safety briefing said 'Long clothing and full face helmets ONLY'...

Just bought my neighbours Fiesta (he was about to scrap it....) Its absolutely hanging but now ive mechanically fixed the non-start issue, its over to detailing to get it ready for sale. I plan on removing the seats, hoovering, wet vac, steam clean etc. However, he used to keep his stash of...

Would it make it any less weird if I was at full mast over the Lotus the whole time we went round track? Obviously im asking for a friend here..... (Also, FLOL at plastic shed 🤣)

I should also have said - My passenger seat is available to anyone throughout the day. You can feel how w**k excellent the handling is on the 140's

Will you be there and on track Andy? Ive always always fancied a couple of passenger laps in a Lotus - might you be kind enough to oblige me? 😊 EDIT - just seen youve gone for a whole day ;)

ive done track days recently, moreover just that this will be my first CSF (what I put could be misread) Open pit lane just suggests you can go on and come off track whenever you want as opposed to 'sessions'. There is an AM and PM OPL or you can select the whole day. Ive gone for all day :)

For fallout remover, bang for buck, I cannot fault CarChems Detox. Unfortunately youve missed black friday deals as theyre epic but on ebay they tend to do 5L for a reasonable price. Its not quite as good as Kerrosol or some of the others but, I paid £56 for 25L (yes, twenty five)

I think what @Gally is getting at is using Cancoat as a topper. And, tbh, id be inclined to agree. I used to think you could go in with a coating and, bosh, done for 3 years. Having used them a fair bit now, im realising that is not the case. Ive learnt to treat coatings a bit like you would a...

Well, it definitely works. I slapped it on really thick and didn't buff at all so it's got a nice thick layer on it. Not as slick as you'd expect but that's due to no buff. I wonder how long it will last!

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Yeah, possibly. But I don't mind doing it once in a while? The company it's from make their own but it's gotta just be the same stuff, just more expensive. I'll give it a whirl and see how long it lasts. Generally high solid ceramic coatings are pretty chemically resistant. But then again, I...

Bit of a random one, but slightly detailing related... Just had the new kitchen at home fitted. The wife wanted a Belfast/Butler sink and it's bloody enormous. I'm also slightly concerned about marks / stains. So, with plenty of it kicking around the garage, I thought "Why don't I ceramic coat...

    The new TV thread

I agree on the price front. Yonks ago I treated myself to a Sony TV. Full HD (crowd goes wild...) (must have been about 14 years ago now). £900 for a 42". Paid less than that just over a year ago for a 75" 4k

    The new TV thread

Got a 75" in my living room and, I can confirm, it is like a cinema 🤣. Waiting for an opportune moment to buy the smaller rear speakers to go with the sound bar and sub too for full surround sound. Most of the comments I get about the TV are 'WTF'. But, honestly, I absolutely love it. The wall...

If I didnt do what I do for work, id probably just not care and have one. However, rocking up to do flooring measures to a customers house in one of those? Probably not ideal 🤣

It was amazon, not ebay (probably same difference) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BXH9W3Q6/?tag=cliospnet01-21 Im surprised at how solid it was. You know sometimes they're flimsy and s**t? This is definitely not that

So, after posting about the 'bucket buddy' that @Louis then steered me off, I got home to a present from my BIL & SIL.... .....A f**king bucket buddy 🤣 What are the chances! Still, I think its an ebay jobby but seems solid AF. Enough room to store plenty of brushes, holes in the bottom and...
