Traffic info does not work in the UK :(
GPS deactivation is not a major step because it is only used when I enter apps which support it but I'll still power it off to be sure.
My original would last roughly 4.5 hours usage or two days standby, whichever came first.
I think this will be similar but right now I can hit 4 hours usage within half a day :D
The battery does take a hammering in comparison to the old iPhone. I'm hoping it improves after several full charges, it did last time. I'm also using it far more right now testing different apps etc so it will be draining more due to that too.
I bought the Belkin leather hard case for my 3G iPhone

The Tuner app works very well, especially in a 3G area. I'll have to test it some more though as it did pause the feed for no apparent reason fairly often during the train journey to work this morning.
I've selected Virgin radio and will leave it playing while sitting at my desk and see how it...
Not sure how it works but it sounded clever when I heard about it. A good way of saving on iPhone resources while still providing a fully functional messaging service.
It'll be great when that firmware revision goes live, they mentioned it during the last keynote speech. Apps will close on exit but will remain live on the client server and a notification will be sent when a new message is received.
It may appear, AIM app is available already and works well but MSN would be better.
Daz, Push IM will be a feature come September so expect more apps then :)
Virgin Radio app is crap, it never bloody works right when I try it. I may buy Tuner.
Aurora Feint is good. Shape Writing Pad is a cool way of writing emails, Apple should add this method as an option for sms writing.
CUPERTINO, California—July 14, 2008—Apple® today announced it sold its one millionth iPhone™ 3G on Sunday, just three days after its launch on Friday, July 11. iPhone 3G is now available in 21 countries—Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy...
I need to figure out how to setup my work Exchange Server to connect with my iPhone. The Inbox on the iPhone is forever empty so something is not right.
My push contacts have worked perfectly today so I may hold off from making any changes.
The screen is great, the yellowish tint is not an issue at all. Overall the screen quality is superior to the previous model.
I'm using MobileMe for email, contacts etc If you are not using this or Exchange server then you do not need to worry about Push.
Cube Runner is basic but good fun.
