Not true. I've had a few problems recently but only for a night or so and other than that it's been perfect for over 2 years. I'm on their 20mb connection. Having worked for Sky and from experiences I've been told of with Sky BB I'd steer well clear. I'd recommend o2 broadband over Sky.
Any thoughts on the Sony STR-DG820? Currently £229 from Richer Sounds and possibly a good replacement for my existing AV receiver.

Dark Knight on BD is excellent, I bought the Batman Begins and DK double set yesterday. The picture quality is stunning, best I've seen yet.
I know of several people who have bought a BD player for Chrimbo, the format appears to be increasing in popularity.

Yeah you can buy Leopard or try to get a loan of a disc from someone else.
Have you tried holding the option key while switching on to see if you can select the boot drive or not?
