You never lose the aim (unless the mechanics change, but with CS there have only ever been minor changes), but game sense starts from scratch again with GO there's so much more complex plays than before due to better smokes, use of molotov etc.
I really love it though. The match making system...
I'd just get a chromecast personally. Pretty much all the features you need and it gets better all the time.
I have my pc upstairs wired through the walls into my AV kit downstairs and to my TV for XBMC, but I simply don't use it as it's easier to stream to chromecast!
Ok so I went home and brought my PC to work to do a ping / reg test on CS:GO, and I was actually quite impressed.
Have a look at the video below from a random UK deathmatch AWP server, for reference my name was "Clint Beastwood" (so you can see how quick my shots register), please excuse my aim...
This is the result from our wireless broadband at work which is what leads me to think it might not be that bad. I might just bring my home pc in one day and have a game and see what happens....
That's with other people using the network too.
You know what, considering all the horror stories about OnePlus's customer service and aftersales, that's pretty f**king good. 11 days is more than acceptable consider it has to go to Asia and back!
Anyone bought this yet?
I got it the other day from Kinguin for £7 odd and had my first game last night.
I have to say so far I'm really impressed. It runs so much better than DayZ ever did for me and with Sony behind it, it's getting updated all the time and new things are being added...
I am the original poster, lol! Yes I've done all the checks (samknows, BT whenandwhere, etc). The exchange which we are attached to is going FTTC soon but not our cabinet unfortunately which is why I'm exploring these options. 7mb on Sky's LLU just isn't cutting it with me anymore.
LOL no. See...
Living in the sticks ftw!
Funny you should say that because I was on BT but switched to Sky because they enabled LLU on the Ryehill exchange and it was miles better, but Patrington works off the Withernsea exchange so maybe that's why BT was better there!
Yeah CS:GO is my main game. My current pings of ~40 (UK servers) aren't great so I'm wondering if wireless can realistically match that. If it can then I'll make the leap as there's lots to be gained in download speed!
Hi guys,
Has anyone got any recent experience with a wireless broadband supplier and gaming? I say recent because I know it used to be terrible, but technology has now moved on, and the amount of wireless ISPs out there now that claim to provide good gaming pings, I would like to ask if anyone...
That's really weird, all the android phones I've had have had the sensor that blacks the screen when it's near your ear. Maybe yours had a fault, who knows!
Similar thing happened to me and I ended up having to do stuff through fastboot manually. I'm a firm believer that any boot loop device can be revived in some way shape or form, just sometimes can take hours.
PS you can still give it to me if you want
Keynes don't worry unless you're listening at loud volumes then it won't do any harm. Just listen at normal volume levels (like you would in say your car) and you could keep them in 10 hours a day if you wanted.
Chris you need to pay attention to the native resolution when looking at these. Both of those projects can take a 1080p input but they downscale the resolution, the first one only puts out 854x540 and the second 1024x600, which are both very low resolutions and will look quite honestly crap...
I hate it when you get on a losing stream there's nothing worse!
I'm MGE but hoping to keep improving and get to DMG then hopefully LE but I don't think I'll be able to go further that that tbh! Not enough skillzzzzz
Great thread!
I started CS about two weeks before 1.4 came out, then played hundreds and hundreds of hours of 1.4/5/6 in my late teens. Went to a couple of iSeries (i17 and i19) and hosted loads of my own LANs when my parents went away 3/4 times a year, I had a big bedroom with a s**t load of...
