I think last year it was 6pm our time? I seem to remember ordering within the hour and I've just found my confirmation email from Google which was at 6:39pm.
I know when I had my S3 we got Jellybean absolutely ages after the Google phones had it, which annoyed me. If it's gotten quicker recently that can only be a good thing :-D
I could quite honestly see a £350 hole in my bank account by the end of the night.
Must.... Not... Press... Buy...
Still looks laggy to me, that would do my head in (10:02, dat lag!). I'd definitely have a samsung phone again if they got TW into shape. (I'll stop banging on about this now, I've made my point).
Does have some good features though.
HTC have released the One M8 EYE in China without really shouting about it.... http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_m8_eye_quietly_goes_on_sale_in_china-news-9888.php
Apparently they have no intentions of releasing it in european markets though :(
The M8 was really only a new iteration of the One, which is fine, but like you say it only really rivalled the N5/S5, it didn't lead the pack. If you look at others, they lead the pack for a few months until something else comes out to beat it (G3, Note4, etc). I just want HTC to do the same...
My issue with HTC is that they never make an ultra-flagship phone. The specs are always 'good' but never amazing. It's really annoying because I think their build quality and software is fantastic, just give me an all-singing, all-dancing phone and I'll give you my money!!
There are rumours that there might be two iterations, a 5.2 and 6 inch Nexus 6. October 31st needs to hurry up! If I don't go for the Nexus I reckon it'll be the OP One
Had a look at some reviews of the Xperia Z3 last night, looks an awesome piece of kit! LOVE the idea of Sony Remote play, that's a fantastic addition (even though I'm a PC gamer so it's moot)
I think most people think of Windows 8.0 rather than 8.1 when they say it's frustrating to use. 8.1 brought a lot of features back from 7 and made it nicer to use, 8.0 was just plain s**t.
Because it's not about the users, it's about the business making as much money as possible. I would do...
It's not as bad as it was but it's still definitely there. I used my sister's S5 the other day and it was no way as fluid as my Nexus 5, annoyed me within seconds! They should just BIN touchwiz completely, at least Sense (HTC's skin) is lightweight and doesn't affect performance while still...
Well, I could be wrong as things have changed since I last bought a TV (3 years ago) but generally plasmas have a glass screen and many LCDs didn't, hence they could have the non-reflective finish.
Iirc many plasmas have anti-glare finishes but only work so well, but to reduce reflection to a...
A few from the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles last week, man I wish I had an 300mm+ L lens though!

Hmmm, pretty positive experiences on the whole then.
I'll keep using this GG sim and see what happens, although my mate has already said he's binning his and going back to EE.
Hi All,
My O2 contract ended this week and I swapped my number to a GiffGaff sim as I've heard good things about them on here, including that they use the O2 network. My friend also did the same, coming from EE, on my recommendation.
So far our experiences have been pretty poor with regards...
My friends and I only tend to game in Winter (summer is for golf), so were hoping we'd get it in November and have 4-5 months hammering it. Annoying! Never mind...
