Apart from the build quality argument I can't possibly think how this looks "dogshit". It trumps everything out there for specs, what more could it have?! We're not talking about the OS btw.
Mine was terrible with O2, pings of 200! I complained to the ISPA and got out of my contract early without penalty because they weren't offering me a good service. I then went to Sky and have never looked back.
Well I'm with sky broadband and I can confirm there is no shaping with newsgroups, but I don't know about p2p downloading as I don't do it. YouTube gets shaped a bit but I can still watch a 1080p video without having to wait.
What I like about it is it's truly unlimited, I've done 200GB in a...
I had never heard of them either until I went to this comparison and review site, http://www.websitetooltester.com/en/website-builder-reviews/, got to tell you that I am really impressed with it so far, looks great and with my half decent knowledge of CSS and HTML I am really able to customise...
Well after having read some reviews today I've actually decided to give Jimdo a go, if that doesn't work it will be Joomla on all your recommendations. So far Jimdo is excellent, as I delve deeper we'll see if there are any limitations that I reach.
Hi,
I'm looking at re-doing our company website and want to know people's views on the best CMS systems. I'm currently looking at 1and1 MyWebsite and Jimdo Business.
My current website is here: http://www.burstwickcountrygolf.co.uk/ and I have used a CMS provided by Terapad. I have customised...
Cool. My bookshelf speakers don't provide enough base so I have my Wharfedale Powercube SPC 10" always in use, although it's not turned up high. I've always been curious if floorstanders would provide enough rumble for movies, although I'm mainly concerned with music where "rumble" isn't needed...
Lewis, how do you find them without a sub? Bassy enough? I currently have a Wharfedale Bookshelf/Sub set up but will have £500 to spend in June on some new kit so will be looking at either some CM1 bookshelves or possibly some second hand floor standers and get rid of the sub.
P.S. Take that...
TV's on the wall are fine, as long as they are only 18-24" or so off the ground, any higher and they look horrendous. Unless you watch TV standing up of course.
Surprised people are all getting theirs so quick, that's awesome. I nearly put my GS3 on ebay to order one but decided against it, now I have a FOMO :(
Do you wear skin-tight work trousers?! Lol. My GS3 doesn't dig in at all and it's about the same size and I wear fitted trousers :S
Did it not say on the website that stock was "Expected delivery 1-2 weeks?". I'm sure that's what I read when I looked, in that case no one will have received...
Our works website just loads up as text rather than the normal layout. If it worked as the proper layout it would be mint, I'm already pissing myself at the text version!
As far as I am aware there is no received on the market at the moment sub £300 that can touch the Denon.
It's funny, when I got my AVR1912 they said exactly the same to me, don't get the Denon, get the Yamaha. I opted with reading multiple opinions and reviews and went for the Denon as for the...
This is exactly why I will never have a Mac, lovely thought they are. If I had a 2008 PC with an 8800GS and the GPU broke, it would cost me £20 to replace. Pointlessly over-expensive.
You might not want 7.1 but you might want to either a) Bi-amp your front speakers for increased sound quality, or b) have zone-2 speakers in a different room. Worth having the option imho. The denon trumps most/all AVR's under £400 so at £250 you'd be stupid to miss it!
Sorry mate your last post didn't have a question mark so I thought it was a random statement.
If I were you I'd start out with an AVR+Speakers package such as http://www.richersounds.com/product/speaker-packages/pioneer/htp071/pion-htp071 and build up from there rather than a decent AVR and no...
Yeah that's why I said take the feet off (which are about 1.5cm tall from memory) then add that to the 3mm he already has.
It's not ideal but it's a work around and it's worked for me.
Whilst I used to agree with this I've found that with my AVR1912 its not been too much of a problem. I had to take the feet off mine to fit it in my cabinet, but about 2 inches from the front the cabinet it opens out on the inside so above the grills there is about 2cm gap. So although I agree...
