Aye I couldn't agree more! You pay for what you get, I shot a family wedding a few weeks back with a 400D + 18-50 2.8 +70-200 2.8 IS and I was maxed out with my settings but able to get by, anything any less and I'd have been fucked!
It's all about preference, I do agree the yellow look gives it a certain "english" appeal and the blue look gives it a bit more of a "french or italian" modern look. But on the other hand, the yellowish-ness makes it just look like a snapshot taken with a P&S to me. All imo of course, no one is...
Aye, i bought a crappy japanese one off ebay for about £4 and it works a treat! Just always have to make sure i turn focussing back to the shutter button and not the * button!
2 years ago we thought live view would never be on a DSLR because it would take the whole "SLR" essence away from it, but now its part of it we don't see photography any differently. Personally I would absolutely love to be able to record videos on my DSLR, cos I use my Ixus all the time for it...
I had one for a year, not a bad lens for the money tbh! I replaced it with a Canon 55-250 IS (£80 more) and tbh the canon is 10x better because it has the new IS system, and it is VERY sharp for the money, we're talking almost L sharp, just not L build and such. I can get hand held shots...
I would go for a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. Most sigma owners say the IQ is fantastic, and the build quality is good too. 18mm is wide enough for nice landscapes its just not ultra wide. And you can pick these Sigmas up for £150 on ebay like new (I bought one this week and you would swear its new, it...

God comments like this REALLY f**king annoy me. It's not meant to be a personal dig at you but you really have no idea what you're talking about. There is nothing "to sort" with vista, its just better than XP on a half decent spec'd computer, simple as that. It only if you start dabling...
If your system is of a high spec (decent dual core, at least 2gb 800mhz DDR2 etc) then Vista outperforms XP easily due to its RAM management. I have vista on my quad core system and it runs like an absolute dream, miles better than XP on there. However on my works computer I wouldn't dream of...
Good effort, can I ask what mode you were in? You have ISO200 on every shot and say that the sun was giving u jip because there wasn't enough light. Personally I'd had been shooting in ISO800 from the off (and wide open rather than 7.1) to give u more room with the shutter speed. Problem is a...
I just bought a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM and a Canon 24-70mm 2.8L USM for a total of £1250. That alone is enough to persuade anyone to by a canon or nikon because there are bargains like that to be made!
Hi,
Does anyone know of a program that would automatically insert MP3 info into the file?
For example when you put a cd in your drive, WMP automatically names all the tracks and such by using your internet connection. Now, I have some cd's which i "aquired" but all the songs are called...
