Aye I couldn't agree more! You pay for what you get, I shot a family wedding a few weeks back with a 400D + 18-50 2.8 +70-200 2.8 IS and I was maxed out with my settings but able to get by, anything any less and I'd have been fucked!

Aye, i bought a crappy japanese one off ebay for about £4 and it works a treat! Just always have to make sure i turn focussing back to the shutter button and not the * button!

2 years ago we thought live view would never be on a DSLR because it would take the whole "SLR" essence away from it, but now its part of it we don't see photography any differently. Personally I would absolutely love to be able to record videos on my DSLR, cos I use my Ixus all the time for it...
