Yeah I think that's the reason you never used to see LCD's above 37" or so, it was always plasmas that were big. Nowadays 42" LCD is becoming the norm because the quality is much better. One of my best mates has a 50" Plasma from 18months ago and its fantastic I must admit!

Afaik that was the situation a year or 2 ago but now technology has moved on and up to 50" the difference is pretty much non-existent.

What makes you say plasma is the way forward with that spec? I haven't seen a 1080P plasma for that kind of money. What makes a plasma better?

Mines @ 425x8=3.4ghz and runs at 30-32 deg at idle and around 50-55 under full load. Make sure you are all read separate core temps and not CPU temp.

Well its for golf swing video analysis. The Casio would be perfect but its double my budget :( A golf club moves at 100-120mph and i know from golf photography that you need at least 500fps to see the club clearly, especially at lower resolutions! 1000fps+ is ideal.

Hello, I need to get hold of a high speed CCTV capture card for my PC. The one I have is a 4 channel USB one but only does 25fps, I need nearer 400-500 if poss, but I will try anything as long as its faster than 25fps! Can anyone help? Cheers Alan
