It doesn't take long at all to build up one of the standard cars into a complete monster which wins most races with ease.

I'm not upset at all, I knew the game releases would be slow until autumn. Rainbow 6 Vegas out soon though which will be cool. For now I'm playing Forza 2.

I'd go easy on the Widgets then. Look in your utilities folder and open Activity Monitor, you'll see the widgets occupy more memory than they are worth. Apple+Shift+U on the desktop will get you to Utilities quickly. Replace the U for a 'A' in order to get to Applications quickly.

How much RAM are you running?

Not got many cars in career mode yet, mainly used the Golf GTI. I've won several on the way to Level 10 but only used the V6 Golf out of those. I've unlocked several cars in the Arcade Exhibition mode too. I was watching your lap and you did have one or two air moments :D

The Dashboard is a memory hogging waste of space. I keep a calculator and currency converter on there and nothing more. You can download lots of widgets for various things which may be of interest to you and have them preloaded on the Dashboard. When in the Dashboard click on the cross (bottom...

That's right, you can either right click the drive and select eject or drag the drive over the trash and eject it too. You'll still need to delete the installer file (dmg) that you downloaded, this will probably also be on the desktop.

Adium is far better than msn/yahoo etc When you download programs the system mounts them as if they are on a disc/drive. Install and then eject the drive. From here you can then trash the downloaded installer file. It'll all become very easy after a week or so.

I watched Ollie drive badly tonight around the Nurburgring. In fairness he was doing better than I would have been. Nice to see that the game will automatically join a online game of someone in your friends list.

I've now unlocked some more races at Level 10 which should allow me to take the Golf back onto the track. It's a monster :) This is my game of 2007 so far.
