The PS3 will not compete in a games only market until later this year as it has alot of ground to cover in order to catch the 360. I'm confident things will improve though and it'll be a successfull console.
If you have uses right now that extend beyond gaming, media player etc, then it's...
I'm trading in R6 Vegas this week for Forza 2 and then I'll buy it when it's released on the PS3 later this month/early next.

The quality titles will follow, this was always going to prove a quiet time of year for the PS3. All depends if you can wait. If not sell up now and buy one again at a later date.
The titles you mentioned were simply ports of 360 games and due to this were never going to look any better.
I bought a Wii in January this year and sold it a week later as I wasn't very impressed. My PS3 I bought on release day is far better and used far more often than the Wii ever would have been. The PS3 is a bargain considering the various media uses it is capable of providing. Love it.
It may well be a similar idea but it is not licenced from Microsoft and is been marketed by HTC as a system developed by them alone.
I'm sure many manufacturers have a version of this, it's not exclusive to MS.
The iPhone rivalling features of the phone are the Touch Cube and TouchFLO software both developed by HTC and not Microsoft.
Windows Mobile 6 is the same version found on many new PDA's.
That's not directly a Microsoft made product, HTC are well known in the market for the manufacture of Windows Mobile powered pda phones. The o2 Orbit is one such example.
Yeah I'm very happy with it. Next month I'm replacing the standard speakers and fitting an amp.
The headunit has made a huge improvement to the sound even with the standard speakers.
I fitted my X001 today and I love it. Unfortunately for the OP it's not in a Clio.
My new car stereo was installed this morning :) Excuse the crap camera phone pics.
If you're running windows then I'd definitely recommend you try Tversity first of all which will allow you to play most media types directly from the XMB.

Install Tversity and you'll be able to stream lots of formats including AVI and DIVX.
Also signup for a US, HK and Japanese account to get access to the store for each area.
Some handy BD info from AVF:
If you type in 7669 then enter on the title screen of any sony blu ray, it will open up 4 calibration screens for you to use.
*The first step for calibration is to set your TV to the "Pro" or "Movie" mode, and turn the color temperature to "Warm" or "Low". This...
