Other than the dedicated devices Has mentioned the laser detection in the gps units isn't exactly great and if it beeps chances are they have already clocked your speed.
I'd not be counting on any of these gps units to save you from mobile laser traps. Buy and fit a dedicated laser unit or slow...
I thought the Origin B2 was the best performing unit of those costing over £150. I've owned a B2, Snooper, Road Pilot and a Road Angel.
I'd rate them:
1. B2
2. Road Pilot
3. Road Angel
4. Snooper
The B2 database was by far the most uptodate and accurate of them all.

As a speed camera warning device the Talex Lite is brilliant and every bit as good as the more expensive GPS based units I've owned. I bought one for £29.99 last year but I think you'll be looking at paying £89.99 for one now plus £35 for a year subscription if you choose to update it.
Some of these films cannot be true HD but instead upscaled conversions. American Werewolf In London for one. That was definately not filmed with true HD equipment :D
