I think Orange had problems with them due to the customised software they insist on installing. The original Nokia software which is available using the update utility on the Nokia site is perfectly stable, more so than my old k800i.

I've owned both and prefer the N73. With the latest software you shouldn't have problems with it crashing or running slowly, all ok for me.

No probs at all with my WPN824 wireless router. Connected first time even with full security settings activated. My router is using modes 'g and b', channel 11, WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK with a passphrase.

Yeah but this announcement is a disk that contains both formats and will mean that it makes no difference which format of player you own. That has to be a good product, price dependant.

That's a good price but probably not a mistake as Sony have the new version available for £199. My local Sainsbury's also have them available for £99.

Good piece of kit. I own a Inverto IDL7000T which has a 160gb HDD and can record 2 channels while watching back previous recordings. I may even have some for sale soon at a good price.

They always make s**t F1 games which pisses me off cause Sony hold the console license for F1 :( So the ingame GT HD graphics are not as good as the demo vid that was posted here?

That is very true. Good lenses are not cheap and are the one reason why I will probably not choose the DSLR path.

The noise issue is a concern for me too and many owners have made comment about it on dpreview.

That's the camera I'm planning on buying. I had read that for indoor shots involving fast moving people etc that the FZ50 was not good, a DSLR is the only real answer for those shots. I have seen many good example pics from this camera so maybe you just need more time using it? Have you asked...

I use a debit card to pay for Newshosting without any trouble. If they are similar performance then I'll remain with them as they are slightly cheaper per month. Thanks for the input :)
