I'm not just on about brake dust, I mean chunks of brake pad, that has stuck to the wheels like glue. They are even hard to pick off with a fingernail.
It's that time of year again, so Sat was the big day, this year it was failed on Hazard switch and Horn.
Easy, did in the garage car park, tried hazard switch a few times, it then worked, bashed horn with hammer, it worked.
I was back in for the re test within 10mins.
This year was easy.:)
Right, I'll try some Hot wheels and then some of Freds fairy dust stuff.
I just hate having to send away for stuff, if I could go down the retail park, pick up X go home and do it, all would be good.
Best place to get X from is the next question.
I found some wonder wheels in the shed, didn't touch it. can't be doing with 4hrs cleaning wheels after every race. Got better things to do, but do want them to look clean.
Is this stuff really as good as you boy's make out?
After testing on Friday, the wheels took a bashing, taken me all afternoon to try and clean them, almost had to chisel the brake deposits off.
Is it really a case of spray it on, leave and wash off.
Thanks
Tony
Good luck on Thursday Pete, do you still need your yellow/black cross novice sticker?
We had a good day on Friday at Oulton, so #4 is ready to rock & roll.
