Sunday night 26th March at around 19:40. I didn't get a proper look at it as I was in a van with limited visability but it looked great from what I did see.
I've noticed that if I drive my 172 when the engine is cold, maybe only 1 minute after starting that it has a tendancy to accelerate but then back off the power briefly even though my foot has remained in the one position. Do they all do this? :) It's fine after a minute or two. No other car...
I used to have a new phone nearly every month, sometimes more often than that :D I've behaved though for the past year and have owned a Nokia 6630. Good phone and runs my sat nav but I'm replacing it with the N80.
My mum just bought one of those in that colour. It's a cracking looking colour when you see it in real life.
I think my mum paid £6700 for her Campus Sport.
I get a slight hissing sound whenever I put my foot down in my 172 and AFAIK I still have the original filter. It's been the same since I bought it in Feb.
He had my car for 2 days but he didn't work on it exclusively during that time :D
I'd imagine for anyone coming in off the street that he doesn't know the cost may be closer to £300 but possibly cheaper. He's well worth contacting for anyone in the Central Scotland area.
Yes that was inclusive of fitting :) A local garage and mechanic who I've used for a couple of years now. Great guy, very trustworthy and knows his stuff when it comes to cars.
The Talex Lite will match any of the other more expensive units and can be bought for £39.99 at Somerfields (rrp £89.99). It's a gps based cam system and has voice warnings. Excellent value.
It's a high pitched vibration that sounds almost like plastic vibrating against something, I could be wrong though. I can recreate it easily enough by driving at 70mph in 4th gear.
It took me a bit of getting used to the clutch in the 172 in comparison to my old Saxo vts but you'll get there with it. It was made even more awkward for me cause I'd owned a C2 VTR for 8 months which didn't have a clutch :D
