I had the same results as Breeze. The TT700 was very patchy when used in my 172 whereas the TT One with the superior SirfIII Chipset had no problems at all. The new models will be released shortly to bring the GO range inline with the TT One.

The Sony camcorders are quite good value for money and produce good pic and sound results. Avoid JVC, I owned one of those and the mic was terrible.

I still miss my VTS, it was a 2000 W reg model and was in great condition. Fantastic car with many happy memories in it. I bought it 2003 with only 12k miles on the clock. The 172 is my 3rd car since selling the VTS in March 05 and I think I'll be as happy in this as I was in the Saxo.

That sounds like a fair enough reason to me :) I love my 172.

Cam belt is due at 72k miles or 5 years so it may not have been done. Worth checking. Many people opt to have them done at 36k miles.

TomTom One will work in the Clio without any trouble as it uses the SirfIII chipset. Halfords, PC World etc all sell it for £249.99

I've went and checked the clutch again during my break and it's now moving smoothly again after the car has been sitting unused for an hour or so. Looks like it is the same problem as described on this thread.

My car suddenly started to do this during the drive to work today. Feels kinda notchy and a creaking noise? Almost like it's rubbing on something as you're pressing it which is stopping it smoothly moving. Is this the same as what everyone else notices?

That sounds right. You may need to apply for your transfer first onto the 182 and when the ammended v5 for the 1.4 is returned to you then your brother can then use this to assign his own plate.

I used to have this problem with my pc. I eventually discovered that my USB modem was causing problems, replaced it and all is OK.

Got the car delivered back to me this morning and all in for aux & cam belt change, spark plugs, oil and air filter was £236 Not bad at all.
