When i turn to the right there's a knocking/banging noise from the N/S wheel. it does it when moving and when stationary. ive just replaced the shocks, springs and top mounts... any suggestions?

Ph1 172 in silver, Thursday afternoon at PC World in Christchurch. Driver went into allied carpets next door... completely standard car. mine was the 172 in front of yours :)

f**king £67 for a top mount kit for a clio... and times that by 2 for both sides! :eek: :dead: thats more expensive that the shock absorber it fits to! :mad:

Ive recently removed my amp and the 4 gauge power cable that went through the bulkhead to the battery. I drilled a new hole for this the diameter of the cable. Now that ive removed the cable, im left with hole that whistles like a b**ch when im driving along with the air rushing through it...

I've just bought a new laptop and want to send files from my desktop via my w/l router to my laptop, and vice versa. Desktop is wired into the router, laptop is wireless. Desktop is on XP Pro, laptop is on XP Media Centre Edition. How do i do it? Thanks :)

Finally fitted the new shocks and Eibach Sportlines yesterday and gave the car a blast today to bed them in. I cant fault them, they've completely changed the handling of my car compared to the apex :approve: a few of you PM'd me asking for pics, so here ya go! the springs have now covered...

Well not strictly a new car, but it feels like one! Today i went about fitting my new Eibach Sportline springs and new OEM shocks. I previously had Apex springs on worn out shocks. Wow! i had honestly forgotten how well my car handles, its really changed the characteristic of the car...

im replacing both front shocks tomorrow, and fitting new springs at the same time. its the first time ive attempted it myself. the only thing that worries me is what to do with the hub after taking the shock out... surely it will just be left hanging, or should i support it with something...

My windscreen is permanently steamed up and covered in condensation on the inside in this weather. The aircon works well, but doesnt take long for it to come back. are there any products i can use to minimise this?

What are the tell-tale signs of the front shocks gone? my front drivers side is sqeeking a fair amount when going over bumps... and im all set to buy some new shocks. How can i tell it this is whats wrong? currently on apex springs, but did the same on the eibach pro's. Got some Eibach...

printout from renault dialogys: what's the "cover s/absrbr" in the picture (round thing). Will i need to order one of them too? if anyone can confirm the part numbers for a ph1 172 that would be great :)
