It sounds like a rear damper issue to me as well,leaking is not always a sign of them going,took two off a car the other week,one was shagged,but showed no signs of ever leaking.

Sounds like a BTCC car on the starting grid.

As Danny say's,take a good look around in there at steering rack,air can pipes,earth straps,wires,as its so much easier to do things while its all out.
