Mmm,didn't you have a pink car once?I can see a pattern forming here.
I'm not saying EBC are the dogs b****cks, just that we use them and there fine for what we need.
On a plus side,it will not move with camber bolts.as long as the little washer is fitted correctly as this takes up the free space behind the cam.
Slotted struts can and do move, even if done up megga tight, fact.
As I said, get it corner weighted. We found we didn't have enough weight on the front, then we changed the pads.We now run EBC yellows, don't care what anybody say's about them, they suit us.Your car may be heavier and your races are longer,so these will not be any good for you(our races are 40...
If we could afford some plastic doors,we'd be right down the 800 mark, they weigh a bloomin ton, even with nothing in them.
Ian Collins in the other Clio in our series say's his weigh's about 820kg,he's got carbon door's though.
Had the car corner weighted by Fred and then changed the pads, they were just too grippy for us,and like you we were having to brake early to save locking up,no confidence under braking at all.
PZero's,we raced on theses for year in Hungary as they were the control tyre for the Championship in 2005.
Once shaved down to 4 mil they were great,we had to do this as they moved around too much on the tread.
