I have tried to drive ours with the pas turned off,not nice imo anyway,its the same as disconnecting the servo on servo assisted brakes,not nice.Good luck.

We had plenty of days like that,two of us in the workshop for about 14 hrs,stand back and think,fook is that all we''ve done.Keep going,its the only way.
We find this the same,infact we are extra careful on a track day and would more than likely drive slower.There is nothing worse than having some knob in a race car keep chasing you around cutting you up etc,etc.
I have a fully recon box by Agency Transmissions sat on the workshop floor,was going in the race car,but a change of plan now means this is up for grabs £250 collected.Your old box would be helpful as well.
