This is what happened at Brands this in our first race, somebody on the second row of the grid stalled, everybody shoots off, then a guy from the back of the grid was almost flat out and just drove straight into him, nasty.Easy done.
Not driving at proper speeds its not.
Alex, don't they do one on Boxing day or something like that,I'm sure there was one around that time last year as we thought about doing it,but car wasn't ready.
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
They need tacking in otherwise they will move, and you don't want that do you.
Actually no,you are able to get a stiffer sidewall with more profile. How many race cars do you see with low profile tyres?
Thanks Mark lol,but yes I can feel a tyre moving on its tread if they are new.
Thanks Alex, but already spoken to him,he knew the car from being at WSR Silverstone and was very helpful. Also offered to change them at anytime if we didn't get on with them, can't beat that really.
After discussing with him weight of car, tyres and other tech stuff, yellows seem to fit the job.
Have you raced with these?probably not.We know a guy who has raced with these with same spec Clio for three years and not had any bother at all.
Thats what testing is for.
Curtis is always very busy, sometimes when we phone him he's in Jamaca,Spain,USA,but is always willing to help if he can over the phone. We just plan anything we need doing around his busy diary.
Does not sound as though you could put up with that,so I guess there not for you.
