I would be getting them done at a local place they make the hydraulic hoses up for work all parker hydraulic stuff so good quality.
Thats good to know about the 5% used the last one loads (if you do remember PM it over please)
What size pipe are you using 1/2 or 3/8 as the plates come with 1/2...
Is there anyway of fitting the cooler the other way round so the fittings are on the top?
Have you got 2 sandwich plates on? I assume one is for a take off for temp / pressure gauge.
Just been looking on JJC and they do a cooler for £39 + sandwich plate etc
I am thinking of getting a oil cooler, where is the best place/cheapest to get one from?
I want one with a thermostatic sandwich plate, as for braided hoses are they needed?
Mines on OMP subframes but no sliders and it is fine, I have the Bimarco aluminium mounts and drilled some holes lower down in them so the seat is about 20mm lower than it would have been, I cant go no lower now as the base of the seat is close to the subframe, but I had to trim and reprofile...
Go for the Futura only about £20 per seat more, I have been pleased with mine for the money.
As for the FIA approval they must have met the requirements at one point.
That's what I did as I wanted the project but it has probably cost me a lot more than buying a car already sorted, doing it this way you will learn a lot more as well.
Been messing with the camera over the last week.
Fitted the lens back to standard and it worked so then tried it with the extension again and it played up, so turned the extension lead around and it all seen fine now.
I will give it a try for a few days and see how it goes.
I've used bathroom sealant on my focus St before because I could not find the other high temp stuff I had and it was fine for over 2 years when I removed it to sell the car.
Why get a old / basic car to do more miles in.
If I had to spend longer in the car everyday I would want a upgrade more comfort etc how about something like a Skoda Octavia VRS TDI would be more car for your money than a BMW.
Why get rid of the ST anyway, the amount of money you would lose...
Go for it Mark , I love my orange wheels
The shifter isn't to bad when you rest your hand on it while driving (on the road that is)
Worth the noise for the improved gear change
It is hard work to get some they sell out the same day they have stock, if I do decide to get some coilovers mine will be for sale but will not be for a couple of months.
Here's mine
They are very good for the money sits nice never had no rubbing on the track with et35 wheels (and et43 +16mm spacers grey wheels), I find them a bit bumpy on the road but I only drive the car to and from the track so it does not bother me.
Not sure how they compare to average...
Easy enough to sort just buy some cheap foam cut it out in a circle the size of the tyre and fit on the alloy face inside the wheel bag, it will not move as it would be trapped by the bag around the tyre
