2 ways to look at that mate, first is at least he never did you for anything, I am sure if wanted too, he could have got you on something, second is, I really don't see how he can say they will seize your car if stopped again? what for doing 34 in a 30 etc? nah, he is just trying to frighten you...
I would say it depends on what the deal was, if it was sold as seen? I don't think there is much you can do? especially if it was a private seller.....
Talk about bad luck....:dapprove:

I thought that a half decent trophy would be well over 3k?
Don't get an ST170, they are cheap for a good reason, not that quick and pretty thirsty....

I just bought a FF182 after selling my bike, looked at a few ST's, but I think you get more car for your money with a 182, quicker and handle better, and are a bit cheaper, I love mine and only had it a month, I have driven literally hundreds of cars, I don't find the seating position bad at...
I have just bought FF182, and It has loads of toys, as Ste said, Climate control, auto lights, auto wipers, which I find a pain in the ar"e, But it is quite well spec'd for a small car, I don't even find the driving position either, plenty of room and I am 6ft 2....

Just to let you guys know, seems like it might have been the EGR, was pretty dirty, clean it out and it seems ok, time will tell, but thanks for your help

Guys, I know its not a Clio Sport, but my mate has a DCI Clio on an 05 plate, its losing power and chucking black smoke out the back, he can accelerate through it and it seems to clear, but is doing it intermittently, am I right in thinking it probably down to an injector, or maybe the diesel...
I checked the date before I bought it, it was only just on 2 years ago, I will give the garage who did it a ring tomorrow and see if they can give me the full detail of what was done, my car will never be a show car, as I prefer driving it than spending hours and hours cleaning it etc, I just...
I will check the book when I get home again, but I thought it said, Belts, as in Plural and pulley changed at 70k, but I will double check.... its actually written in the service book.. Thanks for the heads up...

Ok, so now I am getting worried, I only paid £1625.00 for my 04 FF182 in blue, its done 90k with history and belts and pulley done at 70k, the wheels are mint, and its had an induction kit and piper cross cat back fitted, admittedly when I test drove it the toxic monitor light came on, which has...
I am sure I have probably just put the kiss of death on mine now, but I think I was quite lucky, you don't see them very often at that sort of money, just keep looking plenty of choice out there.....

Guys, quick update, I have half an idea where the problem might be, whoever took the canister off, also removed the plug, so I only have the 2 wires left, wonder if that's my problem? I am not great with electrics, so does anyone have a easy solution?
Thanks
Willo
Guys, I have searched here, and found part of the answer, the 182 I have has had the Carbon Canister removed, as result the Toxic Monitor/Engine light is on, (I didn't take it off) I got a local auto Elec to fit a 23 ohm resistor, which he did and the light went out, but he said the resistor got...
If he is fully comp and has a hire care as part of the deal won't his own insurance company pay for it, then try to claim it back once the blame is decided?

Does it make a massive difference if they are modded, i.e. my 182 has Piper Cross Cat back and induction kit, I am struggling to get 30, and I ain't been going mad all the time, it is urban tho not on a decent run....

For someone who supports Liverpool, I seem to end up with a lot of Blue Toys, I really like the Orange, but they seem few and far between, so I was looking for Black or Blue, the one I ended up with seems a steal at the moment, so fingers crossed, Thanks mate, was pure fun in the nice weather...
