Also, its a good idea to change the brake nipples to stainless versions if you have the mild steel versions. Source: I snapped two nipples when trying to bleed them.

You are fine, 25Nm is a proper torque for plugs. I always handtighten them without overpowering, so they cant break. If you overtorque, they will break and you will be in trouble.

Yep, had the same issue on another car. High probability the CV joint is shot. Tip: try to find a new shaft + CV joint (already joined together).
