Won't love the bill,:-( exhaust manifold and twisted set up cost £1400 not fitted, got about £13,000 in it when it's finished, and probably sell for £7,000
I think mine is the wide angle lens, a 8 min footage will be on YouTube in 3 hrs, I have a 2:30 mins footage already on, just look for 28 12 2014 blyton, wayne
I got one from amazon, works really good, used it at Blyton on 28th dec, would highly recommend. Just putting some footage on YouTube, look for, 28 12 2014 blyton clio cup,
Yes, it's always faster at the top,but £2000 for more power after 6000rpm, in first, second, that 1000rpm last about half a second, in third it may take a second or two to go from 6000,too 7000 rpm, will be interesting to see how much difference it will be on track, and like I said for £2500 I...
Tom that looks bad, and made me think leave it alone, less torque, and only better hp after 6,000 rpm but less power in the mid, hmmmm sell up next summer and buy a megan 225 lol
Yep I think you are all correct, forget bhp, and throttle bodies, concentrate on handling and driving, although with Pauls map I did gain just over 20lbf of torque, so that's quite a bit,so I'll see how it goes at Blyton on the 28th December, my wets are being fitted :-)
I put sportline springs on hoping to go do trackdays, but the car still rolled lots too much still, fitted whiteline arb, now corners good, so unless having good set up coilovers then rear arb is a very good choice.
Yes that's wot I was saying my advice is leave everything alone, go for bodies or supercharge, also the cam package of dan, I've asked how to pay and I'll go for it, but no reply yet, this post is all about me expecting loads but getting nothing for wot I've already done,
Nope told there s**t too, makes little more at top end that's all, in some of there tests they even lost a little power, so they say, cos I told them about it for sale, and thats wot they said
I was told forget the port matched they may give me 1 bhp and decat may be 1bhp, so asked about cams, was told nar forget cams there not worth the money, for little bhp gains, :-( told super charger, or throttle bodies only good way to make power... So probably staying at 168 lol
Just took it for a map, it's got port matched inlets, k&n panel filter, miltec de cat, power flow stealth, timing was out on first run at 154bhp, adjusted timing and mapped got 168bhp, that 200bhp now looks miles away, probably never going to get it.
It's a internal, pulled bk off pushed onto window, rubbed like mad, and it pulls straight off with on resistance, like there no stick, windows was freezing cold, witch won't help I know, I'll try warming glass tomorrow
Hi, just asking if any has tried which way is best to fit the bolts. I have fitted them in the top hole, but would it be better fitting them in the bottom hole? Bottom hole would give slightly more track? There for better? Any one done this.
I have two sets of turinis, one has cheap road tyres other has track tyres, going to.put the dunlops on next week, and hope it's wet on 28th at Blyton lol, and look out for some more wheels to mount the wets on, cos my luck I'll take off the r1r tyres and put wets on and it will be a dry day
Just bought some dunlop direzza wets, and yes had the camber and tracking set up on 4x wheel alignment, it's with the bolts, last track day it was raining and I ran R1R toyo tyres, but couldn't get them warm, brakes are Brembo high carbon discs and ferodo s2500 pads, also running rear camber...
Thanks Steve, I thought it should move, just throw me when just one side did, was thinking of needing solid top mounts at £100!! Also looking at it, when the strut/hub moves down, it looks as if the caster moves? Is this also a benefit of solid top mounts
Hi, I've jacked my car up, put on axles stands to change discs and pads, drivers side strut and hub, or can grab hold and move it up and down,as if the nut isn't fastened tight in the top mount? Only about 5mm but don't seem to be able to do it on the other side? Any ideas? Before I strip strut...
