Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project Day 169 Got a few bits and bobs sorted over the last few days, blanked the heater matrix hole up with some sheet metal and welder...The welder I had lent didnt want to play nice, wire kept sticking then had no gas...so the welds took some tidying up. After that sealed it...

its not that, my problem was the balljoint bolts through the wishbone kept working themselves loose, even with new bolts + locknuts...

Dialogys shows that there is a plate present... But some random PDF i have dosent... Either way, im on the hunt for a pair from a williams/19/172/182 anyway, will see where I get....thanks anyway people!

hmm s**t, ive been running the 172 wishbones without them not knowing....hmmm

just checked on C16V and they are 20 odd quid new from coops he does group buys from time to time.......has to get so many before he will do another batch etc

Does the 172/182 wishbone usually have a plate that sits on top of the wishbone itself, over the holes on the balljoint end, that the bolts for the balljoint go through? Thanks.

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread I got quoted £174+VAT for re-con drivers side shaft from Renault, slightly less if you did it on an exhange basis, brand new was more expensive :( I ended up paying £47 quid from specialist breakers for the one shaft I was missing

yeah hes fitted them and they all line up with washers to space them out etc...all fits
