MOT Issue - Headlight washer jets not working.. any ideas to fix/replace?

Your MOT tester must be Adolf Hitler if he fails you on something like that lol

More than likely it's the pump. Remove them and fit blanks.

    Ferodo DS1.11 v DSUNO?

I'd leave them in tbh, don't want cross contamination between the different pad materials.

    Track Day Tyres - 205/50/15

Even soft slicks will need heat to work, so i doubt they'd be ideal for sprinting tbh.

    Track Day Tyres - 205/50/15

If yours are a 7 inch rim yeah mate they will. What is the race series called?

Ebay or try the Track Time Facebook page to see if anyone has some. The Mini Challenge cars use Dunlop 185/580R15 Or Michelin equivalent size will be 19/57-15 What are the tyre regs for your series?

Advise buying a second hand car form a dealer

As Daniel said. In hindsight you should have checked all that before hand. The money you've 'saved' will buy you a tyre and pads.

    Carpark induced sadness

The other codes are just for things like interior trim level and anything like cup packs and other things specced when the car was ordered.

    Ecu remap by post?

I was there a few weeks ago with a forged Megane that made 430bhp. Chris spent over 4 hours getting it spot on and he explained various things and showing us calculations of what he'd expect at a given boost pressure.

    Ecu remap by post?

I think we've established that the failure on his car wasn't anything to do with mapping. @Allan H i'd have 100% confidence in taking it to EFI. Everytime i go, Chris has always had time to talk to anyone and explain things as he does it.

    Ecu remap by post?

Things like that you might not see any damage but there could be microscopic fractures, which is why i'd change it if it was me. I'm no expert though.

I would have changed the head personally after the first time the cambelt went. Think it got reused didn't it?

    Ecu remap by post?

I think yours was the only Clio i've seen that's had valve seat damage. Most of the time it's the valve itself.
  19. Mr Trailer Man

    Ecu remap by post?

Valve seats don't need doing unless there is something wrong with them.
  20. Mr Trailer Man

    Ecu remap by post?

I've not heard of any blowing up from mapping. I doubt yours was down to mapping, it was a valve seat wasn't it?

    BG 182

I'd wipe it out with an alcohol cleaner first and then primer, paint, lacquer. Leave it a day or two and then sand.

    BG 182

Dent man, then touch up the scratch, wet sand to blend and then DA to correct it.

    Poor handbrake

Standard pads should be more than enough, unless they're glazed to f**k.

    Poor handbrake

Have you adjusted the cables on the handbrake mechanism? Give the adjuster a few turns and it should tighten it up. New cables will stretch a bit.
