The PBS's are mega for the Clio. Running them front and rear really does balance it out.
I know a guy who ran the DSUNO and DS1.11 in his Megane and said they were identical stopping power wise.
DSUNO are more aggressive on discs though and used half the pad in a day.
Just as much risk having no cage at all though.
Most cars on track don't have a cage. I've only ever heard of someone getting t-boned once.
Racing is a different story.
No boost by gear in this, it's all of it straight away.
Once rolling it's rapid but yeah it can't put the power down if you mash the throttle pulling away.
Yeah mega bargain. Lucky really, it was up for sale on here and within minutes there was people offering to buy it without even seeing it. I knew the guy's brother so persuaded him to hold off until i could get over to see it and he did.
The chance to buy a good one for cheap has passed now.
It was 5 years ago when i bought mine for £1800.
The only things it has needed in that time (excluding cambelt/service parts) is a power steering pump and an alternator.
A lad over on RSMegane has built this up over the past year, a lot of money gone into it.
I've seen it in person and the engine is a work of art.
Full build thread can be seen on the RSMegane forum http://www.rsmegane.com/threads/big-unos-r26-project-engine-build.15621/
Has the potential to...
Not much camber on the front for a track car. Is it on coilovers?
What the guy said about moving the steering wheel doesn't sound right. Unless the wheel is fitted wrong.
He should set the wheel straight first and then align to that, no exceptions.
Would like to see the front toe touch more...
