Bumping this anyone recommend one for cleaning out farm machinery/vans etc
Been buying the cheapo screwfix ones but hovering up metal filings, stones etc keeps killing them.
The new mac's come with chips made by Apple themselves so windows might not be able to utilises them efficiently.
The previous had intel the same as a normal laptop.
Autodesk viewer works ok but most of my clients use Navisworks.
If you want to just view stuff any modern laptop will be fine.
If you want to model stuff then you will need something with a bit more power.
I have this really handy sticks almost anywhere and has hooks if it’s not magnetic.

ehh battery grinders aren’t quite there yet imo.
I use mine less than I thought I would.
Having a load of cheap ones with different discs, wire wheels fitted is much better.
If the temp gauge is fine it should be ok.
Otherwise multimeter or if you don’t have one put the sensor in hot/cold water and look at the gauge.
edit: Just noticed if it’s only slightly below normal that could just be due to the cold weather recently.
Ordered myself one of these, it’s basically a manual impact wrench you hit with a hammer.
Been using my dads and it’s really good at cracking off really rusted screws where the gun was just chewing the heads off all the time.
What makes me laugh is use anything Microsoft on an Apple product it works fine, soon as you try using it on windows it throws an error.
Tried to use teams on a laptop this morning and it just throws an error, but on the imac/iphone no problem.
Update.
Finished the course which culminated in making a chat bot, definitely feel more confident and things are starting to click but if you asked me to sit down and write something other than pong I'd struggle. 😂
I've now moved onto learning some more front end stuff so I can do more than...
Lidar struggles with shiny stuff normally anyway, you end up with a lot of noise.
Old stone buildings like churches or monuments usually come out really well.
