Cheers for the replies guys. Thats the engine/gearbox out, f**k me it was a tight squeeze. Getting it level was fun as was inching it out bit by bit as there was bugger all space at the pulleys side and the alternator pulley caught a few times. My + terminal nut on the alternator kept spinning...

I have a bit of work to do to my 1*2, Sump Gasket, Gearbox and Clutch amongst a few other bits I was thinking it'd be easier to do this work with the engine out the car. What is they easiest way to remove the engine and gearbox from the car ? Can they be removed in one piece ? Or does the box...

Everyone seems to be going on about 15's I need 195 45 R16 tyres as i aint buying a third set of wheels. So does anyone know where i can get a set of 195 45 R16 winter tyres that aren't a silly price ?

I'm afraid that having a french car that'd add up over time, running to the garage every time and light came on and pay them silly money to turn it off or tell me whats wrong when i could do it myself as well as replacing the part. The fault code readers can't be that bad or they wouldn't sell...

I have tried a search with no luck really. Does anyone know where i can buy a fault code reader for my 172 ? i am needing it so i can read fault codes and generally know when sensors have gone tits up and it'd be good to have the ability and to turn off/clear airbag lights, emission lights...
