I'm am pondering with the idea of dropping my Ph2 172 on its arse on coilovers. :)
My next question is what ones are the best i can get for less than 500 to 600 quid ?
And where would i be able to buy them ?
As i'm totally oblivious as to what coilies are good and what ones are bad :(
I may...
I was gonna keep using what i am but it just looks like its got not silver flake in it if that makes sense :S
And i wandered if there was anything else better that doesn't cost an arma nd a leg ;)
I'm after new Polish, Sealant and Wax for my Iceberg Silver 172.
What do you's guys think ?
I was using collinittes 476 and applied it about 4 or 5 times (this amount being as i'd sometimes top it up after a few washes).
It ran out just before xmas :(
Under that i have
Jeffs Trigger Acylic...
Cheers, ;)
But don't you think coilies would set it off ?
They look alright mate but i aint convinced on them :S
Get the pics up Daz, although it probably similar to the one above :)
Lol :rasp:
Try the "Parts for sale section" on here mate.
Or failing that K Tec or Larkspeed if you want...
That seems a great deal mate, but just make sure that they have done belts on 172's before and have the cam locking tools etc as well.
Either that or walk away as your car will run like s**t :(
f**k i've never heard of that :S
Where was that from ?
And was it a genuine Renault Filter?
P.s I bet the added it to your bill, you get nothing for nothing now a days ;)
I aint got a clue what coilies to get though if i went down that road :(
For the price i'm willing to spend which is 400-500 notes.
Has anyone any ideas ?
Someone mentioned Fk's ?
But i'm f**ked if i know who stocks them :(
I was gonna look on K Tecs site but they are a bit of a rip off for...
Bump :)
I'm open to new opinions as i'm looking at new wheels again as i'm still undecided on refurbing the standard 127ff wheels in there standard silver or antharcite :S
I'd bleed them all just to be safe :).
Normal brake fluid is DOT4, but if you want you can use DOT 5.1 which has a higher boiling point etc.
But you'll have to make sure all the DOT 4 fluid is out the lines if your using that. as you don't want the two mixing too much ;)
And Sarahs foot will...
