Great guide cheers mate :)
I may give it a go if i ever get of this oil rig.
Do you have any pics on the way the standard metal washer goes in with the wee thin bit of rubber that was cut off the big rubber Mounts ???
I take it the standard replacement metal washer goes in first then the cut...
What Nvh ?
When i was fitting Oil gauges to my 172ff i had problems getting fittings to suit the threads in the engine block that the oil pressure sensor goes into under the oil filter :(
I was told by my local hydraulics place that it was a M14 x1.5 metric thread
See my threads here for...
Bloody hell it may be JAM Sport then ?
They seem to be well recommended on here which is suprising as i thought Angelworks were the boys for matched Inlets ;)
Has anyone got a link to there website ?
Ok cheers Riley ;)
I take it the plastic screw is easily broken though :(
And is it a normal thread ?
By that i mean it aint a left hand thread or anything ?
Ok cheers ;)
I guess you need to make up some kinda funnel attachment with a hose on end of it do you ?
Whats the drain plug size ?
Is it the same as the sump plug for draing engine oil ?
And i take it the drain plug has no washer on it that needs replaced ;)
P.s This may sound silly but what...
Sorry to gatecrash this thread.
Is changing the gearbox oil an easy enough job ?
Where is the fill plug ?
On the top of the gearbox ?
Or on the side ?
And where is the drain plug ?
And is it just a case of piling in the oil till it over flows and refit plug ?
Or fill it, go for a wee gentle...
Ok cheers,
How much did that sting you mate ?
What you done apart from inlets ?
Sweet !!! :)
Is that not because of you 182 manifold though ?
Clio 1
Ek9 Nil :)
I know this has probably been asked before but here goes.
I have a FF172 as some of you's know and i'm after some Matched Inlets for it.
I have seen that JamSport and Angelworks do them.
My next question is are these two companys as good as each other at matching them ?
Or does one company...
