What kind of coilovers for that price ?
With what i have left over i mean after a refurb and new tyres ?
I'll probabaly have about £400-£500 to spend on Coilies. ;)
I may actually leave the standard wheels on after seeing this pic
Anyone any ideas, what colour they are ?
And another thing i suppose is Turini's are everywhere i'm starting to think. :dapprove:
That makes us, the two with rotten 172's in Aberdeen

It was only the discs screws everything else was plain sailing asn peice of piss to strip.
No sticky calipers or nearly 70k miles here :rasp:
That thought did run through my mind as there heaps of 172's with Turinis :S
I was just unsure to refurb them the standard colout or in anthracite.
So i guess its a case of.

Standard wheels refurbed antharcite

I am seriously thinking about a new set of wheels for my Iceberg 172 thats lowered on Eibach Sportlines.
The reason for the change is my standard Ff wheels are all in need of a refurb and two of them need tyres :( so thought f**k it as i have the cash i'll treat myself :)
And they have to be...
How long did it take you to do them bud ?
There a piece of piss to change :)
I did mine in a couple of hours :)
Although the screw for the disc needed an impact screwdriver (the ones you hit with hammer) to free it :(
I have just received this link from one of my mates.
http://www.dirtworker.co.uk/
Its basically a portable pressure washer which is self contained and runs off your fag lighter.
I thought it'd be handy at the likes of Car shows etc where you cannot get a constant water to hook a hose up and...
And i was just thinking, i would running with no Caf for a while till i get pipework sorted.
Would this do any harm ?
As i have heard from some people there is enough cold air flow to the battery area between the bonnet and some say there isn't :(
And would removing my bonnet seal help ?
Or...
Ok cool.
Would there be plenty of flow down the batter side ?
And would removing my bonnet seal help ?
Or just make it rattle ?
P.s Sorry for the wee thread gatecrash ;)
Thread useless without pics ;)
And stay away from Renault if you do go down the road of a new one, as they'll rip you off big style :(
Ebay or Scrappies Ftw :)
Or even "car Parts for sale section" on here.
I'm sure Codgey is breaking his 182 the now (but it aint in silver:()
f**k that !!1
150 odd quid for a splittie.
As said above how the f**k can they justify it ?
Especially when standard not sport splitter is bigger (depth wise) :(
Has any one done this photoshop yet ?
I'm curious too :)
The taxi's when i was working in Egypt had black roofs.
And they were Yellow Lada Riva's
Lol
Would you get vinyl that wide ?
Or would there be a join down the middle ? :(
Sorry to gatecrash a bit here opn your thread mate.
Where does the airfeed come from for these Itb's ?
Or is the air in the engine bay cold and suitable enough ?
As the radiators right on front of them :S
The Samco Bend i have fitted the now to the standard airbox the now slips on a treat, no forcing it on or anything.
So should i go for it ?
I can't justify spending that sort of cash on a Maxogen no matter how good they are.
f**k that !!
I just thought i'd ask as i had the Bmc sitting...
