Looks a not bad idea ;) But wouldn't more people look at it if you can get it insurance approved by someone like Thatcham ? Then ou can sell it as being insurance approved etc etc. Or will that cost too much ? P.s Whats with you floor mats ? They look a bit chav :(

Get the BMC Removed man and even the Silicone Hoses(they may be classed as modificaton) :( And hope he isn't a c**k and says painting you Turini's is a mod, as they aint the standard colour :(

Thats what i thought, unless you've paid slightly more on top of your premium to help pay towards a Gti courtesy car ;) And its pot luck usually as said above :( Its cheaper for them to give you a 1.0 or 1.2 than a Gti ;)

Ok i will do bud ;) But i know the o.d (outside diameter) of outlet pipe on the carbon filter has the same i.d (inside diameter) as my Samco hose from K Tec as it slides on airbox a treat(well they aint both the same measurements as the airbox outlet is a ball hair smaller o.d wise to allow...

Thats a fair bit aint it for a standard airbox ? :S

The reason i'm wandering if i'll gain anything i because when i had it on my Polo Gti (It was meant to be 125bhp as standard, and with just the Carbon Fibre Airbox and the Decatted Powerflow Stainless steel exhaust sytem it made 138bhp on the rollers) Not bad increase i thought for a filter...

I had a oil breather on my lastcar (2000 polo gti) and thats all i could smell from the inside of the car (oil fumes) :( It also leave a film of oil over everything around about it :(
