Spotted Eckascliovalver parked up left down beach straight (the boulevard) tonight beside new flats speaking to someone with a pug 106.
Was on way back from cinema, car was looking not bad mate :)
Was in birds car though.
Lol :rasp:
I also spotted a yellow clio too, i think it was a old...
A decent panel filter in the standard airbox with the acoustic valve removed in your air intake pipe and then re-route your air feed to the lower grill at front of car with ducting pipe.
Type Acoustic Valve into search, theres plenty threads on it ;)
Remove the bar that runs along the back...
Re: Greenstuff: They are s**t
Sorry to gatecrash our post mate and if this sounds silly.
But if his pads have fried themselvess, why would it come down to the brake fluid ?
Fair enough if you use your brakes enough you can boil it, but the fluid wouldn't cause smoke :S thats the pads...
Lol :)
Arsed spending £350 on an airfilter is my opinions unless you have engine work such as throttle bodies etc.
Its a fair bit of cash for little gain on a standard ish engine :(
Looks great mate.
What were the results with the cars in those pics ?
Or did you kill them all ?
Was the blue corsa a 2.0 liter ?
Or just some random blue shed ?
Heres a thread to bore you :rasp: and to try and assist the "How much/What/Where do i go for a new plip /remote key" threads.
I thought i'd put up the latest price for a new fully programmed plip key with the key blade (supplied cut) from Renault (these prices may vary from dealer to dealer...
Just thinking, is that guys cup behind me awful high for being lowered ?
Well i think it is, it has yellow shocks (possibly Koni's) on back.
Or is it just me ?
Could it be cause its on 17's ?
The weight on one of my wheels was there when i got car the rest of the wheels have stick ons :)
I can't be fucked taking car to a tyre place to get tyre taking off and put back on with sticky weights, i'll just wait till there worn.
Cos with hammering it on its probably split the top...
They were on to try and save paintwork and sides of the car in the bad weather :S
Was gonna put some on rear but couldn't be assed, i think a set on the front is enough
It was only a tenner for a washer jet, so wasn't worth heading to Mackie Motors Brechin for.
And yeah there pretty clueless, well the parts boy is each time i call for something.
Bet they topped up yer pisser bottle just ti get a few extra quid off ye...
f*****s ! ! :(
And the Rac will turn up with a wheel :S
I'm thinking they'd have to tow you home, and wouldn't you look silly calling them to tow you home cause of a puncture ?
Heres a few more pics to bore you from when i was into collect a new passengers side headlight washer a week or so ago.
As the nozzle/jet ball has came out of mine :(
The 172 Cup in the background is one of the salesmans.
Excuse the 1st picture's quality, my mobile phone aint the best when...
On another note, why are you removing it? Weight saving exercise?... bin the bloody spare wheel then
I know, i would love remove the spare wheel but i don't trust those cans of tyre foam/weld stuff :(
What if i have a puncture with a hole to big to seal ?:S
I was in same boat as you mate, lost my spare before xmas. :(
Eventually got round to doing something about it and called Renault last week to order a replacement :)
The dealer in Aberdeen (Evans Halshaw) wanted to charge me £170/£180 (They couldn't agree a set price with me):(
So i called...
Thats the bar out :)
The bolts were quite tight, but i just slackened them a bit then tightened again abit then slackened them a bit and they freed off. Then i screwed the bolts back in with a bit of grease to plug the holes in the floor they came out of ;)
I couldn't be arsed lying...
Just thinking does bhp/torque figures not vary from roller to roller.
+/- 1 or 2 bhp i mean ?
Like 168bhp at Falklands Rollers and 170bhp on Wallace Performance 's etc.
Or they all pretty accurate ? :S
Not like Evans Balshaw to f**k people about there uselsss.
Imagine saying to take yer car in today and not even raising a job card :(
Do you not fancy doing the compression test yourself ?
Or would you rather leave it to them ?
